as far as the food goes, it was just ok. the service was sadly bad, or should i say, lack of service. we thought that with a name like "good gravy diner" they would have good gravy, but we were disappointed.

great breakfast. i'm relunctant to visit small diners, especially when i'm hungry because they tend to be light on portions, but good gravy diner definitely came through for me. their biscuits are large, fluffy, and delicious and yes- they have excellent gravy. i got the cheese omelette and it was very tasty. they give you a huge loaf of hash browns, kind of like jimmy's egg does. the waitress was super nice as well. overall a very pleasant experience!

awesome biscuits and bacon gravy. being from the south, my standard for biscuits is high. very few places in okc meet this standard, but good gravy does.

the name is fitting...they really do have good gravy! we tried a little bit of everything and it was all good...orange juice, coffee, pancakes, chorizo and eggs, hash browns, biscuits & gravy. we definitely plan to eat here again!

shredded roast beef?. the waitress got our drink order wrong. how hard is it to get drinks for two people? never saw the waitress again after she gave us our drinks. ordered the roast beef dinner expecting to see sliced roast beef. wrong! shredded roast beef? the shredded beef was way too salty. i was looking around for ketchup to mask the taste but it seemed like the folks working there were ready to close the place at 12:30 pm. the green beans were straight from the can, overcooked and heavily seasoned with black pepper. maybe they do better breakfasts than lunches. i don't know. i won't be back.

mrs. oklahoma could offer a bit more in the breakfast dept ( no chain included) so after reading a brief review of one account about the bacon gravy my brother ventured out. it was lunch rush and opted for lunch special: chicken fry mashed potatoes and veggie. honestly i was not impressed. mashed potatoes seemed to be boiled and sliced with knife no butter salt or pepper of any kind, ck fry was boxed all breaded and tough. green beans ok. all in all i can say i tried it but wont go back. the summit and nic's grill are sitll my number one stops.

if you want good food, reasonably priced, you won't find better than this.
