the good earth roseville was never great, but passable. they are one of those restaurants that try and use the words healthy and organic synonymously, which is misleading at best. i orderedfoodtonight for pickup, because i had a decent meal there through the week. unfortunately, not only was the order wrong, it was wrong due to extreme negligence. not only were my dietary restrictions ignored, but potato chips and bacon were haphazardly tossed on top of my order. i eat neither meat nor potato chips. when i called and spoke with the person in charge, alex, he told me that the meal usually comes with a side and there must have been a miscommunication. a miscommunication implies that there was some communication to begin with. i ordered a meatless meal, wasn't offered sides, and as a result, picked up a mess of a useless meal. although alex says he comped me for the errors, that's not the best solution. the best solution is hiring competent people in the first place. while i completely understand that customer service is often a difficult job, having committed leadership with strong interpersonal skills makes a tremendous difference. i won't be back and suggest the same for everyone. go to a place with staff invested in their products and customers, versus a place invested in defending their mistakes
