great w/ food intolerances. i ate at good earth in roseville and have a long list of foods i cannot eat which make eating out extreamly challenging. the manager and the chef came up with a few different items that i could eat and the chef personally recomended the salmon w/ mango salsa. he thought the salsa might have an ingredient in there that i couldn't have so made a variation from scratch. it tasted amazing and i have never been helped with the quality of service i recieved at good earth. i will definetally be going back there!!!

good earth - roseville, mn: great food, great service. our party of 8 had a great experience on a saturday evening at good earth! our reservation made via urbanspoon meant we were promptly seated. our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and our food came in a very timely manner. as non-red meat eaters, we were happy for the variety of veggie, chicken and turkey options on the menu. each of us enjoyed the appetizers and dinner we ordered, and the restaurant's atmosphere allowed for conversation with everyone in our group. we would definitely eat there again!

tough to find an all veg food restaurant / cafe here. but good earth surely does a great job. their food is light, tasty and flavorful. loved the entire experience.

the good earth roseville was never great, but passable. they are one of those restaurants that try and use the words healthy and organic synonymously, which is misleading at best. i ordered food tonight for pickup, because i had a decent meal there through the week. unfortunately, not only was the order wrong, it was wrong due to extreme negligence. not only were my dietary restrictions ignored, but potato chips and bacon were haphazardly tossed on top of my order. i eat neither meat nor potato chips. when i called and spoke with the person in charge, alex, he told me that the meal usually comes with a side and there must have been a miscommunication. a miscommunication implies that there was some communication to begin with. i ordered a meatless meal, wasn't offered sides, and as a result, picked up a mess of a useless meal. although alex says he comped me for the errors, that's not the best solution. the best solution is hiring competent people in the first place. while i completely understand that customer service is often a difficult job, having committed leadership with strong interpersonal skills makes a tremendous difference. i won't be back and suggest the same for everyone. go to a place with staff invested in their products and customers, versus a place invested in defending their mistakes

the food here is pretty good. organic, fresh.. it has some vegetarian options and you can make those entrees vegan if you'd like. the beverage section gives plenty of choices and you can even customize your drink! there is also a bread and pastry window at the enterance to take home anything you'd like to try.
the menu changes based on season, so keep that in mind. i've also noticed that when it gets busy, customer service and food quality drop drastically. i try to avoid visiting on sundays generally.

the good earth’s convenient suburban locations (one in the edina galleria and one near rosedale center), extensive seasonal menu, and use of sustainable, local ingredients have earned it a spot on my short list of go-to list of restaurants.  a recent visit to the roseville location featured many of the culinary details i’ve enjoyed on previous visits, but a several oversights prevented the meal from being as enjoyable as i had hoped.

pretty good!. love the idea, love the menu. pretty good atmosphere and presentation. flavors ok, but everything was dry, from the bread to the chicken. maybe we were there on a bad day though. worth trying again!

food was great and our waiter was very knowledgable and engaging. he brought out fruit for our 4 year old while we waited for our group. i had the curry coconut chicken and it was perfect. the place is a bit loud, but the food and service makes up for it.

ok food but noisy!. went to the good earth for lunch. bison burger was good (not great) but the noise was so overwhelming that my partner and i could not carry on a conversation. sad that an upscale restaurant couldn't manage the sound level better. there are solutions! and they pride themselves on local but no local wine??? sad. avoid the lunch hour (11-2) and the dinner hour (5-8).

it’s been a while since i went to good earth (in roseville, second location in edina), even though i love it there. you see, before i went off gluten, i couldn’t digest lots of fruits and veg, including spinach, broccoli, apples, basil (ok, any dark leafy green), oranges, and tons more.  and since pretty much everything at good earth, being a place with a focus on whole foods, had something i couldn’t digest, we just quit going. well, lucky me, doc finally helped me see that it wasn’t the veg at all . . . it was the gluten.  and within two months of going off of it, i could eat those foods again. that means i can go to good earth and enjoy a gluten free menu this long!: wowsas! that’salotta options!  (don’t worry, i took better somewhat pics of each of the sections – check ‘em out at the bottom of the posts) i had the bison burger with gf multigrain bread (which, as always, got a little soggy. when will i learn?). yummers. it came with terra chips. a nice touch is that they even brough

the good earth café is a nice rotation from the perpetual steak-knife-and-buns bender of my life, and the prices are reasonable (the just right was $11), but i wouldn't frequent good earth or drag my friends there. they serve beer, but i wouldn’t drink one there. they serve dinner, but i wouldn’t eat one there. this is a great mid-day refuge from your inboxes and meetings, and it looks like a lot of people know that. i may not see where else good earth could fit into my life, but they’ll be seeing me again at lunchtime before long.
