ordered delivery food last night from golden dragon.it was really tasty and super loved the mongolian beef and deep fried barramundi fish in sweet and sour sauce, will order tonoght again for different choices. thank you

best yum cha in geelong by far! quality of the dishes is always excellent each time. extensive menu, very hospitable and roomy establishment with friendly staff and owners. if you don't leave this place with a full stomach, you're doing yum cha wrong!

we waited over an hour and thirty minutes for food. 2 other tables had left while we were waiting for our food. multiple take away orders were catered to before people were given menus. when we asked the servers how much longer we will have to wait they would never come back with an update. door lady also yelled at a mother in front of her child because the mum wanted to also leave the restaurant due to the long waiting time. the food was decent but not worth over an hour and a half wait. terrible service.

plenty of choices great taste
good prices. the manager was outstanding. so hands on with all customers and ensure good services. highly recommend

best yum cha in geelong in my opinion. service is always no nonsense and fast, staff are generally quick to refill your tea and the food is overall great. my personal favourites here are the chicken feet (you’re not doing yum cha properly if you don’t order this!!!), the pork ribs and to finish off the deep-fried ice cream. accepts cash and credit cards. worth booking ahead particularly on weekends.

hands down best yum cha in geelong. service is good and the food is full of flavour. one of my favourite spots for weekend lunch. i would definitely recommend this place to anybody that enjoys yum cha. service is also very good  and the wine was pretty reasonable

personally do not recommend here for a yum cha session. i do not think the dishes are worth it, the dumplings were too soggy and moist.
i was hoping that the crescent dumplings would be the best dish but it turns out it wasn't the best. the dumplings was only served in 2 but the picture was shown 3.. also it was stale, very hard to chew on.

overall, i would not come here again and would not recommend the dishes at this place.

this is a great find in geelong especially for lunch...not sure why many don't go at lunch.... food is delicious, service great and in and out easily in lunch hour... they have a great lunch menu along with all the favs, and some great yumm cha choices. give it a go...you won't be dissappointed 😎😎😎

you’ll have noticed that twosheds has been spending quite a bit of time in geelong recently. it’s turning into a serious food city down here: reference our recent review of bistrot plume. to follow up, after a busy day, we had a 3pm yum cha at the golden dragon chinese restaurant located in the geelong cbd. what a delight! the kitchen was technically shut when we arrived, but the lovely staff were happy to keep it open for us. we lunched on the classics: ginger prawn dumplings, shark fin and scallop dumplings and vegetarian spring rolls cooked to crispy perfection. when twosheds’ eyes were bigger than what could be eaten, our lovely attentive staff member happily converted remaining food to take away. the surroundings here are fantastic too. located in an old gold rush bank building. recommended. 4.0

happened to drop by geelong cbd and was craving for yum cha.
we ordered a few things from the menu....

👎🏻turned out- our dim sim was not cooked properly
👉🏻taste/quality of food was average only

i accidentally uploaded the pictures first before writing this review. oh well ... we had cantonese beef, pork mince with eggplant, special fried rice and mango pudding for dessert. all of them were great. the pork mince with eggplant was the highlight of the night, very yummy though i wish they had more pork. the beef was very well cooked, tender and thinly sliced. the sauce was a bit too sweet but still good. the fried rice came with chinese sausage and needles to say those are devilishly good. the pudding was nice though somehow it was a bit dense. all in all this is a very good place to have dinner.

popped into this place for a casual lunch with minimum expectations.
the location is great and the place is well lit with good decor.
tried vegetarian spicy hotpot options and it was stupendous.
the portion was huge and the staff were prompt and pleasant.

would definitely visit the place when i crave for a big lunch.

came here with my partner. we’ve been to many authentic restaurants and expected this one to be overpriced with terrible service (which is what we’re used to). staff were polite, prompt and attentive and communicated fairly well. the decor is nice and cozy and the lights were not too bright and i believe this is quite an intimate place (if you also want a date) or chill out. thank you for the service!
