this place used to be in the nakheel bazaar after which they shifted next to the hilton double tree in a much larger venue. its a nice place to come down with the family for some indian/indochinese food. the new venue is much more roomier and spacious - although i did feel the oldrestauranthad a more homely ambience but thats just me. when it comes to the food - its decent thats as far as i can say. the food is a tad wee bit pricier than other similar establishments in the area. i would recommend the chinese chicken fried rice and the chinese fish dishes, they've got really nice indo-chinese food, and a single serving is good for a party of two.

their kulchas and parathas are also good choices for an afternoon snack - however i didn't find their biryani very much to my fancy. plus the last time i visited, it was very sweaty when packed - that kind of put me off for a while and haven't been there since. however overall the food is decent - just a bit over priced.

in first look, menu rates seems to be high. but when order came, qty. is huge as compared to other normal restaurants in al nakheel area in ras al khaimah. very delicious food. specially chicken malai tikka, stuffed paratha and hakka noodles. staff is very polite.restaurantis neat and clean.

i advise ifrestaurantmanagement can reduce the quantity along with rates so that their rates can match other restaurants price in al nakheel.

undoubtedly the very best and refined indian dishes in town, besides the taj mahal at the mangrove that the mughal emperors would love to savor again, given the healthy and hygienic food value added in modern times, along with richer culinary refinements that was propelled by neo maharajas, western dignitaries during the british raj, and most importantly food savvy foodies of our modern world.

if you want your family or visiting guests an ambience that is relaxed and with excellent view of downtown cityscape, and yet affordable, then you can save the burn of your pocket that is inevitable at the gorgeous seaside western hotels😀.

trust me, i have enjoyed it, better than indian restaurants in dallas or houston (yes, i am a us resident of indian origin) or al-khobar's famous grillrestaurant(my family favorite in saudi arabia).

and the habit of rakians preferring to have food delivered at home gives you the free add on: you can pretend you have booked the entire dining area for yourself, that too for free, cherishing a true maharaja-style lunch or dinner.

try it to trust this professor of american university🙏
bon apetite!

p.s.
i will politely decline if my review bemuses the great owner of golden crown to offer any compliments in kind 😊.

found thisrestaurantwhen we went for a long drive to ras al khaimah. initially we were doubtful about the food quality since it was our first experience dining out at ras al khaimah. we ordered grill chicken, butter chicken, kulcha, butter naan and plain paratha. the delivery was fast and food was really nice. liked the butter chicken, breads (especially the butter naan) very much.

food service : 3/5
ambience : 3.5/5 they have a spacious hall , good parking space
food quality : 3.5/5. liked the quality of the salads, breads and butter chicken. the grill chicken was also good but one of the pieces was not cooked properly. (might be because they were in a hurry)
overall the experience was not bad.

came here on an lookout for lunch options and this was the best accessiblerestaurantas we were staying at the doubletree by hilton. since it was eid and we knew the best option was to opt for biriyani, we a group of 16 people ordered all their biriyani options ( fish, chicken, mutton, vegetarian). must say it was quite a disappointment.. as all the dishes had the same masala rice and just the change in meat. we expected a nice fried masala fish in our fish biriyani but was very let down when we saw a battered fish finger in it. no complaints on the food, it was just about okay. the hot and sour chicken soup was way too thick with chicken stock and corn flour and was giving out way too a strong smell. the vegetable kofta curry and rotis was just liked by the vegetarians in the group. overall i would just give a 3/5 rating. but all in all, good/fast service, ample parking space, nice seating arrangements. this is just the right place for anyone staying around al nakheel area in rak and its a little expensive than compared to the food they serve.
