we visited this place over the weekend for lunch. we were tasting korean cuisine for the first time and went with high expectations. the ambience and the service was a let down but the food was tasty. from the appetizer we had dakgangjeong as mentioned it was spicy and the sauce was unique in a positive way. mild chicken kimbap, a korean version of japanese sushi was tasty. kimchi jeon(pancake) was average as we couldn't get the taste of kimchi, which is an integral part of the korean cuisine, so expectations were high. chicken dopbap and chicken katsu platter from thericebowl section of the menu was to our liking though we preferred the former a tad bit more than the latter. overall we enjoyed the cuisine though the experience could have been better.

we ordered for korean fried chicken and porkricebowl and both tasted good. however, they charged us 799 for the chicken, which i thought was atrocious, since the chicken wasn’t even boneless. the food is nice, but their prices don’t match the ambience and quality of food. don’t think we will be going back.

i was very excited to visit this place. finally something different in hyderabad. i've noticed in korean series ,they give lot of importance to food and it looks very attractive. am open to diverse food palete. and i believe and follow tasting food from the street when i visit any country. but sorry, this wasn't tasty, or presentable , to top it overpriced. if anyone wants to experience the live grill that we see in the shows then spend 1k to have 4 strips of bacon. and other pork items looked like the indian chinese we eat everywhere, but didn't taste great. if it's pork andricethat u want to have nanking parklane is best. and samyang ramen from ratnadeep should suffice korean food craving for now, until a better place. having said that, everyone's taste preference is different. i think it deserves a shot 😊

eifher they dont know how to make korean food or they thought we dont know how it tastes so can serve anything. spicy kimbap was totally bland with any spice, kimchi kimbap had kimchi for name sake, bibmbap had sweet gochujang sauce and there was no bean sprout and seseme oil was missing. kimchi jigae had more onions n chunks of it than kimchi.ricesent was seasoned with sushi vinegar that is used to make japanese sushi. n banchans sent were steamed potato and so called cucumber kimchi which was tasting atrocious. overall we regret ordering n spending our money on food that was not worth eating.

i was really looking forward to have korean food once more after my visit to seoul and i was really disappointed with the place
the bibimbap had no sauce and we ended up asking for more sauce
the porkricebowl ,dopbap, was justriceand fried pork belly. it lacked any authenticity of korean food .

then came the korean coffee. this when had in korea is really textured and great but here it’s just instant coffee mixed with milk , water and ice

overall not so korean

go gu ryeo, this is the only authentic korean restaurant in the locality. the place is very new, it's still under construction for outdoor seating. this is located near iron hill cafe in hi-tech city. as the place is not yet completely constructed, it will be too early to judge ambience. but for now, it has got pretty decent ambience with k-pop wallposters everywhere.

coming to food, the menu has got wide variety of korean dishes. so first, we ordered mild chicken kimbap. this is cooked chicken andricerolled in seaweed. this is similar to sushi, but the sides are different. it was served with black beans in honey jaggery soy syrup, tofu kimchi, eggs and baby potatoes with sesame seeds and honey soy syrup. kimbap is a must try here, its so tasty, including the sides.
next up, we hadricecakes with dumplings. they said, this is a very famous street food in south korea. thericecakes are sticky and sweet, in a sticky sauce which is sweet and spicy. dumplings had a sea food essence, with a different taste from regular chinese dumplings. overall this was good, but i guess we can't eat a lot of it. it's best to order one for 3-4 people.
then, we had jjampong. this is korean noodles in red soup, with sea food. they added octopus, prawns and crabs with veggies. noodles were soft and thick, tasted good in the soup. i'm not a great fan of sea food, so i couldn't eat a lot of this. but this is a must try for sea food lovers, it has got a great sea food essence and odour.

special mention to the woman(i don't know her name, but i guess she owns the place), she was very sweet, though she can't speak english, she tried to communicate with such a smile. the hospitality was great, service was very fast.

food - 4.5/5
hospitality and service - 5/5
ambience (present one) - 3.5/5
value for money - 4/5

i have been on a korean place in hyd since years. i knew about this place but never visited them and once i knew i could order, i was more than happy. the food is practically perfect. it’s as authentic as it gets. i was only disappointed with bibimbap as i was only used to the sautéed veggies and here they gave fresh once. apart from the i loved everything i ate. my absolute favourite was seafood jjampong bap. that’s with thericethan the noodles.
