to the purists of goan cuisine ( and i don't know that many), this place should rate as one of those old school portuguese joints, full of nostalgia and good food. to me, it was sheer bliss.
tucked in a by lane right besides the busy casino lanes of the mandovi river street, i'd recommend it to anyone who's had a sour taste in those casinos and their dim witted restaurants.
the pompret was truly goan and the roast pork melted in mouth.... the chicken complimented the beer like bob marley's music in a seaside shack!
the folks at the restaurant, just as the rest of goans weregreathosts and i hope more people visit them.
