omg the best pizza! sooo good! this was the firsttimei've ever had chicago style pizza and its amazing! the top was a little doughy but other then that... we also had the cheesy garlic tomatoe bread. it was little dices tomatoes with cheese on top now that was so good i most ordered some to take home to chicago with me! :) i mist come back here again

thick, chicago goodness. stuffed pizzas here are made to order, so be prepared to wait - approximately 40 minutes for my visit. beers helped pass thetimeand when the pizza was served, it looked delicious. it was delicious. the thick, cheesiness was succulent and the hidden toppings were abundant. always eat it with a fork. it puts ny to shame.

it's my first visit to the windy city and we took a rather early plane, was there just intimefor lunch after dropping off our luggage at the hotel. the first thing we had to try was the infamous chicago deep dish pizza. we decided to head to giordano's restaurant & pizzeria ( @giordanospizza ) which is a chain and have 14 location in chicago alone.  love the bar area... giordano's house salad - starter $3.95 ~ spring lettuce mix, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, arugula, escarole, radicchio lettuces and fresh fennel tossed in a light lemon vinaigrette and topped w/ shaved parmesan cheese   since we knew that the deep dish pizza will be super heavy and filling, we decided to at least have something healthy... this was nothing fancy but love the mostly lemonvinaigrette which was super light and refreshing.   chicken wings "vesuvio" $8.95 ~ jumbo chicken wings baked with garlic, oregano, lemon, chile flakes, white wine and olive oil  we both actually liked this, it wasn't the super crispy fri

good pizza. really good deep dish pizza. however be prepared to wait 45mins for the pizza. we went at an offtimeso we did not have to wait for a table.

everytimei travel to chicago, i alway stop by one of the city's wonderful deep dish pizza joints. there are many to chose from, and i think i have tried them all. however, my alltimefavorite is giordano's. i especially like the one on rush as it is convenient to where i
usually stay.

is there something more that needs to be said about the highly raved giordano's deep dish pizza?

adding to the great reviews of giordano's, i tried their garlic bread thistimeas there was a wait for my deep dish pizza for about 30mins. the garlic bread was no less than the pizza, it was just melting in the mouth with every bite.

with enough things said about the deep dish pizza, it is just outstanding, every bite of deep dish pizza is an experience. i would definitely recommend giordano's to anyone visiting chicago.

the restaurant had a great atmosphere! the interior and decor really represented chicago's history, with its seating style is super accomodating for families and larger groups.

a group of 6 of us shared a deep dish pizza, we are really glad that we did. each slice is super filling, stuffed with cheese and a thick crust - there were certainly leftovers. it was my firsttimetrying a deep dish pizza, so i was quite overwhelmed by the amount of cheese it had. i'm south african, so i was told that a deep dish pizza is something i have to try before i leave the city. personally, i found it a bit bland, but the restaurant does provide chilli flakes and other spices on the table which did help.

we did have to wait a while for the pizza to be prepared, as the servers explained to us so we shared a few starters including garlic bread, chicken wings, and my personal favourite, the wisconsin cheese balls.

it's a really great and informal setting to share a cheesy meal, but make sure to go hungry!

"we had a great experience at giordano's! as we entered the restaurant, there were many people waiting for tables; however, despite the crowd, we were greeted quickly and were put on the wait list. we went next door for drinks since it was a 45 minute wait (this was the only downfall, but expected as it was a friday night).
 
 after we were seated at the restaurant, our server took our drink and food order immediately since the pizza would take a longtimeto cook. we received our drinks rather promptly. we sat upstairs and enjoyed the lively, friendly ambiance.
 
 the pizza exceeded our expectations. the cheese was great quality, sauce had plenty of flavor, and the toppings were fresh. it was not too oily or too ""bready.""
 
 as far as i remember, the table was clean. the floors and seats were clean, too. (i am particularly about this in restaurants.)

deep dish pizza is to chicago as fish and chips is to england, a true classic and have you even truly been there without trying it?. when we went over last september (hey, where’d thattimego) our friends highly recommended giordano’s, which we enjoyed at their flat before going to a baseball game. it was so so good, but we really wanted to experience the whole restaurant too.

chicago is the home of deep dish pizza and giordano's bakes the best. i tried this place twice. the firsttimewas a takeaway experience on the first eve i arrived chicago and i made sure that the secondtimehas to be a dine in experience for our last meal in chicago. i fell in love with their deep dish pizza. wow !!! loaded with cheese stuffed in and topped with a tasty tomato sauce with all the fresh toppings you order. i have never tasted something like that before. the waiters are friendly and helpful. the pizza takes 45 minutes to be baked and ready to be served. the portions are really huge. on my first experience i ordered a medium one with meatballs in it and boy it was huge !!! it can easily feed four people. on our second visit we had the small vegetarian one and it was more than enough for me, my wife and our little daughter. the prices are very reasonable. this place is so recommended for pizza lovers.

best chicago pizza... thistimetried half chicago classic and half cheese ordered a medium stuffed pizza for 4 adults and 2 kids and was just perfect! the side house salad is good and fresh too. a good starter as the pizza takes about 45 mins. definitely order 15-20 mins before you get seated so you don't have to wait even longer to get the pizza. this is a must stop when visiting chicago! expect to wait...so worth it!

flew in to chicago and this was the first restaurant we tried. the food was amazing. we had the deep dish vegetarian pizza and it was delicious. be warned, this place is extremely busy. we arrived sunday evening and the wait was 1.5 hours. first there was a 20 minute wait to get to the front table to get your name written down and reserved. then they hand you a menu and, what i really liked was, they take your order down so it's already be prepared by thetimeyour table is ready. they call and text you when your table is ready as well. sure enough a little over an hour later they called and we were seated. waitress was nice, but very distracted and we had no refills on water, but it was a good experience overall.

the pizzas are so deep that i found my self lost in the cheese!!! well it's not a joke but a fact that they have the best in the world deep dish pizzas! it was my firsttimeat giordano's while my trip to chicago and man what a feast it was! the place is usually crowded so better to plan for a weekday or early over a weekend! luckily we got a good spot to sit and enjoy the pizza! earlier in the day i did hear a lot about this place from one of the shop assistant in a mall and i did not think then that the pizza would actually turn out to be so amazing! service was little slow like it took 25-30 minutes for them to have it served. price is also decent for the quality and experience although i think they can have some promotions but why would they as they are already doing so great in there. i would love to see giordano's going global and may be come to dubai soon some day!@

great pizza. lousy service. i placed an online order which was ready 45 mins after thetimescheduled. this means it did not go into the oven until the scheduled time. there was no point ordering the pizza online.

it is unfortunate as the food is great. and the restaurant is popular. but their lack of service will undermine their business model.

one of the must do things while you are in chicago – try the famous deep dish pizza! i did too this past thanksgiving. a and i went to giordano’s for their stuffed pizza. just a word of caution, the waittimeis pretty long! giordano’s is a pretty popular place and is located in the heart of major tourist attractions. plus it serves one of chicago’s speciality dish!
