gino's restaurant & bar

still the same great gino's years later. i am amazed that years later gino's still has amazing food that doesn't taste any different from my last visit years ago. intampait feels like chefs are always switching all the time and flavor comes and goes with it, but not the case here. while we were snacking on beer battered onion rings at mr. dunderbak's on bruce b. downs, i started remembered the fantastic taste of onion rings with gino's incredible burgers and decided i had to have some gino's.

i convinced my friends to head there since i didn't order at mr. d's. found gino's to be very packed, which i am really happy about because they deserve that crowd. i don't think it used to get that packed when i used to live right next door. when we got a seat i immediately flipped my menu to their burgers and found my favorite "mother earth" burger. so happy to find it still on the menu.

i used to order this burger over the phone and just by hearing my voice they used to know exactly how i wanted it to be made. that's what i call great service. my friend ordered some dessert as well.

man i just can't believe i haven't been to this place in so long. the burgers are so good, way better than most places i have had in a long time. the cheddar cheese has such a fresh taste and the beef just melts in your mouth with it. the onion rings are great as well, juicy and the onion is cooked to perfection (i normally like to dip them in some mayo which i will only do here).

my friends were so impressed they wished we had come here first, but fear not because we will be returning soon. oh and that dessert was so good that my friend had to break his calorie diet for a few bites of it.

baked ziti. great taste both on the top which has plenty of cheese and below! the pasta was cooked just right and worth the price ($10). i would order it again!

ginos is a great place intampaflorida. its been in business for 35 plus years. the servers ate 100%. the food is 100% the enviroment is100%. i alwaus have a great meal here. you want a great meal come to ginos off arminia. you wont be dispointed. this is my cheers.

best italian in tampa. you won't find better than gino's in thetampabay area. i dare you to find a better eggplant parmesan than they serve there. my absolute favorite place locally!

the best. the staff is amazing. the food superb and the beer and wine selection would make anyone happy.

i highly recommend it. this place is a true gem in the forest hills/n.tampacommunity.

jesus what a nightmare that was having to endure that crap for well over 30 minutes! just because it was your birthday doesn't give you free reign to go to any public place you want and let your brats act any old damn way they feel like.

why are you coming on here bashing gino's when clearly the problem lies with your parenting skills?? did it not dawn on you that maybe your kids' incessannt yelliing and screaming was disrupting us other folks there who were just as entitled as you were to have an enjoyable dining experience and not have put up with 30 minutes of kids yelling and screaming while the parents refuse to do a single thing about it?!?!
if you were a decent parent, your kids would know how to act in public.
and if they don't know how to act in a public place then you need to go mcdonald's or bk, or better yet stay home!!!
how classless of you to come on here and try to tarnish a well known, well established restaurant because you can't or refuse to control your kid! shame on you!!
gino's is a wonderful family friendly italian restaurant with awesome food and an outstanding staff who bends over backwards to ensure that every customer has a pleasurable experience.
oh and p.s. -
that bit about there being plenty of other good italian restaurants intampathat would be pleased to have....and it's spelled o-u-r..."our"...not a-r-e, "are" family business, you're right about that. but try bringing those uncontrolled, screaming brats and see how long you last before you get your to-go boxes dropped off at your table and get tossed!
quit spending your time bashiing gino's and start using it toward learning better parenting skills and disciplining your kids!!!

not a place for families!. not a family friendly restaurant!!!!
my husband and i have gone numerous times to gino's and really enjoyed the food. we decided to go with the entire family tonight to celebrate by birthday, thinking it would be a great place since they have a children's menu and highchairs.
we assumed wrong, after receiving our entrees we were advised that the children were too noisy and were quickly brought boxes to put our food in.
if you have younger children do not consider going to gino's!
there are plenty of other good italian restaurants intampathat our pleased to have family business.
