the best italian food in nwa. i've been here more times than any other restaurant in fayetteville and i'll continue to come back. best italian in northwest arkansas and the best food of any in fayetteville. if i need a place to take family or friends, this is most likely the winner.

most underrated spot in fay. in my opinion this has to be one of the best if not the best eatery in nwa. food is always on point, while not being overpriced. here's my go to order:
start with the antipasto- its basically a big salad with some rolled up meats and cheese's, great to split (ideal for 4) works for 2.
if your in the mood for a sandwich i like the italian geraldi, or the meatball. if its dinnertime and your wanting something more appropriate its hard to beat the calzone.
i always get a bottle of chianti because im a lush and it feels right drinking italian wine at an italian restaurant.
overall rating- a. place is solid, top to bottom.

top italian restaurant in fayetteville. anti-pasto, sandwiches, calzones, ny style pizza's.... and an incredible pistacio gelato. great prices as well, a must go.

misinformed. i work at geraldi's and the waiters there actually make an hourly wage and do a tip share at the end of the night. just thought you should know!

bad geraldis. do not go to geraldis. i'm sorry, but any business that does not allow their employees to keep their tips is not okay in my book.

great.. got the chance to try this place yesterday after putting it off for forever - after all cheap italian is always a worrisome topic. geraldi's is a sneaky little italian joint nestled down one of those roads you probably rarely go down unless you live on it or went on it for the sole intent to get to geraldi's (or perhaps wes's). not a terribly big place and the interior is certainly nothing special (honestly the giant median in the middle kind of kills the restaurant flow). it was a tough choice between one of the delicious sounding sandwiches and one of the noodle dishes. i opted for the safe route - spaghetti with meatballs. the portion was huge. the noodles were all well prepared (but did have that "already made" flavor to them) and the sauce was very, very good. the accompanying garlic bread was more buttery than garlic-y, but still enjoyable as an appetizer. the meatballs were a wee bit mushy, but still had a nice flavor (though could use a little extra spice). service was very fast and the waitress was especially friendly in both greet/departure and table side. overall, if you're seeking italian food then you won't find better in fayetteville (especially for the price and portion). my only complaint is the additive meatballs were basically a dollar a piece and not very generous in size. i look forward to visiting again and trying out more of their selection!

90%?! how?! we walked in at 5:45 on a friday night. there was about four other tables and we got seated right away, on the backside. i ran my finger across the center median and came up with a finger caked in dust. that should've been out first sign to walk out. it was our waitresses third day, but she did just fine. a couple other girls also came by to refill waters. as a couple in our 20s, we were the youngest people in there. everyone else was 50+. i saw another table order prime rib but our waitress told us they were already out! at 5:45! so instead my husband ordered a margarita pizza and i had the mediterrianan pasta. it took over 45 minutes to receive our food. it was okay, but definitely not worth writing home about. we waited for our check but then figured you just went up to the front to pay. i have no clue how this place is #3 on urbanspoon. it was not good.

a great pizza place.. i stumbled upon giraldi's a couple of years ago while searching for a local pizza joint. my family spent 5 years living in new york and we took a liking to ny style pizza. what a surprise it was to find that same style pizza in arkansas. our family doesn't live in ar but giraldi's is a destination for authentic style ny pizza anytime we are in arkansas. we truly love the place.
