georgian restaurant - harrods

went to this place cz it was in my wife’s bucket list for afternoon tea!

so we booked the afternoon tea and i must say that it was totally worth it!

the cafe, ambience, servers, the people,foodand presentation, everything was upto the mark!
we had a variety of tea and scones and finger sandwiches!

a must place to visit if you want to shop and eat at a fine place at the same time.

if you are looking for a classy and gourmet/ nouvelle cuisine (with fair plates size) thats your place! amazingfoodand excellent service! i will definitely suggest the georgian for lunch!
thefoodwas simply perfect, we ordered the lamb steak, lobster salad, tuna tartare with aubergines and some sandwiches.. we were full with a small place for the dessert.. so we had a raspberry soufflé and small chocolate sticky toffee .. im not a dessert fan, but damn! i just love it!

if you want afternoon tea, there are loads of other places in london serving a better product. for example, the lanesborough, the ritz, even dean st townhouse serve a better tea than the georgian. it's usually a mixture of tourists or day trippers who rock up for tea at harrods, either because they don't know where else to go, or just the cachet of the brand that attracts them. however, where it does score highly, is if you want to pig out and have an appetite to match, then the georgian buffet is a splendid place to eat at. a truly wonderful gathering of delectable dishes all in one place, for you to sample endlessly. where else can you eat these days such a massive variety offoodand as much as you like of it, for £50. i wouldn't usually recommended a buffet, but this is old school and hasn't lost its charm over time. good value, good food, good service and a belly full at the end of it all.

i recently tried this place for tea and had a great time here. thefoodwas excellent with wonderful presentations. the tea had wonderful flavours in it and was amazing. even though this place is a bit expensive, at the end of the whole experience it was all worth it. i would love to visit this place again and would recommend others to try it as well.

this place is a popular tea room. my partner and i are experienced tea drinkers, and our experience here was a good one. the quality offoodwas impeccable and the tea was also great. the service was also spot-on and faultless. overall, it was enjoyable and i would definitely visit this place again.

i had a lovely afternoon tea experience at this place. the place has a great ambiance which is not at all stuffy. the list of different types of teas is quite extensive. thefoodis incredibly good as of a supreme quality. thefoodis very well executed. there is a wide variety of accompaniments available with the scones, which are delectable. the service is good and the staff is very hospitable. i would definitely recommend this place.

the only reason i would even call this place average was the service that was offered by the servers. they were warm and efficient and maintained their calm in just about every situation. i ordered from the a la carte menu and take my word for it thefoodwas horrible. it was not just greasy but the dishes did not have any taste. the menu seems to not have changed since decades and will not want to consider visiting this place again.

i was really disappointed with the kind of service that i got from this place. it was not at all efficient and attentive to the needs of customers. coming on to the food,it was an all english affair. thefoodwas good but nothing extraordinary. if you have not visited this place yet, you are really not missing out on something.

i have been to this place a couple of times and never once has this place disappointed me. thefoodis excellent with wonderful presentation and a wide variety. the service is quite efficient with the staff being quite warm and friendly. the ambience is great with wonderful decor and thus, i would surely recommend others to try this place.

then ourfoodarrived! we were served, in the traditional fashion, a large silver three-tiered serving platter. the lowest tier contained a variety of delicious sandwiches, the second scones, and the top level desserts. the first sandwich i tried was a delightfully mini lobster roll. the roll had the appropriate crustiness for a lobster roll and the lobster mixture was great: i could taste the lobster but also several seasonings, celery, and several other additions. the lobster rolls were, not surprisingly, my favorite sandwich and we all proceeded to ask for and eat a second round of them. the next tea sandwich i had was some sort of ham sandwich with ham, rocket, and a seasoned mustard.
