quick eats, greatselection. i drove up late afternoon today (a monday) to find the "bagelry" tucked away in a nearly hidden corner of the whole foods plaza and completely empty despite the heavy traffic and full lot. as i sat here pondering writing this review (free wi-fi!), customers were trickling in every few minutes, some buying by the doze.
i picked out the warm corner by the window and spent a few indecisive minutes beneath the large menu before i bought two bagels- garlic and oatmeal raisin- and an old-fashioned sioux city root beer. both were really flavorful and neither tough/dry nor mushy.
i'll have to come back when i'm hungrier- they have agreat"nosher" list of lighter toppings (cream cheese, butter, spreads) and a great-looking set of bagel sandwiches. (the rueben looks fantastic!) every one that came out was a good size- no skimping on the ingredients.
it's a neat, quiet little place (quiet for now, at least) overall, and i'd definitely come here again!
