yum. whenever i get bagels, i get them from here. i love taking home a big paper bag of warm tasty heaven :)

if you're looking for a good, affordable bagel and some amazing fresh squeezed orange juice, go no further than georgetown bagelry in bethesda. ms. classy and i have come here a few times and liked it so much, we brought her parents here for breakfast when they came to visit over the holidays. we entered this tiny eatery and luckily there wasn't much of a crowd like our first visit. we quickly shuffled up to the counter, selected our bagels (garlic and salt for me, whole wheat 'everything' for her), and our desired bagel filler. we were in a breakfast mood, so we steered away lunch/dinner selections and opted for the egg and cheese to fill in the space between the bagel halves.   whole wheat 'everything' bagel with egg and cheese  the garlic and salt bagel really packs a wallop and should only be ordered by people who really love garlic and salt (which i do!). if you like a hint of garlic rather than a garlic punch in the mouth, try the 'everything

quick eats, great selection. i drove up late afternoon today (a monday) to find the "bagelry" tucked away in a nearly hidden corner of the whole foods plaza and completely empty despite the heavy traffic and full lot. as i sat here pondering writing this review (free wi-fi!), customers were trickling in every few minutes, some buying by the doze.

i picked out the warm corner by the window and spent a few indecisive minutes beneath the large menu before i bought two bagels- garlic and oatmeal raisin- and an old-fashioned sioux city root beer. both were really flavorful and neither tough/dry nor mushy.

i'll have to come back when i'm hungrier- they have a great "nosher" list of lighter toppings (cream cheese, butter, spreads) and a great-looking set of bagel sandwiches. (the rueben looks fantastic!) every one that came out was a good size- no skimping on the ingredients.

it's a neat, quiet little place (quiet for now, at least) overall, and i'd definitely come here again!

georgetown bagelry should have been a great place to love. the tweets are always full of deals, they offer great discounts on already super-reasonable prices, it was busy enough to seem alive without being loud or distracting, there was free wi-fi, and a

fantastic. fresh bagels, a good menu for both breakfast and lunch, and not too expensive... what more could you ask for in a bagelry?

bagels in bethesda, maryland, d.c., and virginia. you can really taste the difference in georgetown bagelry's bagels. they have a distinct flavor that shouts quality to my senses! georgetown bagelry offers some unique catering options like "teaser" platters and "miami burger" platters. good stuff.
