amazing. best gelato/sorbet in brisbane hands down. soooo damn tasty. the flavours are seasonal and punchy, each of them are mouth watering in their own right. i really love how some of the flavours are not the typical one's found in the more dispassionate ice-creameries.

very important to deviate from norms like that so keep up the good work.

mrs kan do and i were walking around rosalie and saw gelateria cremona. we were a little full from dinner at pannini woodfired gourmet pizzas and we had also shared a coconut ice cream soft serve at the west end markets, but curiosity got the better of us and we dropped in here to taste a couple of flavours.
these guys have an unusual and novel set of flavours available (e.g. hot cross buns, banana and caramel, kulfi, durian, salted macadamia and toffee).
mrs kan do and i were feeling a little conservative with gelato flavours at the time, so not much on the list appealed to us.
we both tasted the kulfi and mrs kan do tried the dutch chocolate.
the kulfi had notes of ginger and cardamom which made it quite nice, but i would have liked some pistachio in it too.
mrs kan do was quite happy with the taste of the dutch chocolate.
we will likely visit again to sample their flavours in more detail next time.

our local gelateria close to home. we visit on a sunday afternoon for a gelato fix. phuong tran is happy to see durian gelato on the menu board and asks for a scoop on a waffle cone. it is pistachio for me.

the gelato is quite soft and while phuong enjoys her durian cone, my pistachio gelato lacks flavour. more crushed pistachios please!

a mothers day treat catching a movie next door at the blue room cinebar, we wandered out like most of the theatre goers and grabbed a gelato!
having read everyones reviews i was very excited to try the goods at this gelateria!
we eat with our eyes, and was dissapointed that all gelato & sorbets were covered! i am a visual person and reading a board with minimal description puts me off (maybe this is why i love gelato messina so much).
anyway, i decided on the earl grey & pistachio. hubby had the snickers & strawberry tiramisu (mothers day special).
price was reasonable at 1 scoop for $5, 2 scoops for $6.50.
pistachio was nice with the texture of the crushed pistachio nuts through it, but flavour very mild. the earl grey was excellent. bold in flavour and if you love earl grey tea, its a must. i sampled hubby's and the snickers had gooey caramel through it and tasted just like a snickers bar! the strawberry tiramisu was very mild and nothing really stood out, no overwhelming strawberry flavour and no hint of coffee or liquer or savoiradi biscuit/cake. i certainly am not deterred and will be back to try other flavours

amazing gelato - truly world class. i like how the flavours constantly change - it adds a bit of excitement to each trip! favourite flavours of mine: salted caramel, snickers, coconut lime, earl grey, (some indian flavour dessert one i can't recall the name of - sorry!!).
i wasn't a huge fan of the lavender, it reminded me of my nan's handcream, but having said that, i really have never tasted a bad flavour here yet! oh the decisions!

came here on sunday afternoon, the place was empty. i was bringing a crowd, but the staff were very friendly and the service was quick. i thoroughly enjoyed the experience, thus i was really happy when gelateria cremona came to the university of queensland as a food truck.

ordered the pistachio flavour; tasty and not overwhelmingly sweet, which is perfect for those not having the sweet tooth. also tried the tiramisu, creme brulee, and salted caramel; all were perfectly made, got the rich and creamy texture along with perfectly balanced flavour. my personal favourite is the durian flavour, which is i think, a seasonal menu.

a perfect place to enjoy a delicious gelato. would definitely be coming back here in the future!

we visit for some gelato after dinner. we join the queue and are offered samples but there is no need. we have decided on a scoop each of pistachio and crème brûlée. while both gelato are good, the pistachio is exceptional.

loved the vibrant colour of the raspberry-mandarin sorbet. the mandarin actually came out pretty strongly and it was overall an interesting and refreshing flavour. i also liked the belgian chocolate which wasn’t overpoweringly sweet. i don’t know if it was because i got it at a food truck, but their two scoop cone isn’t massive. i actually preferred this because i could try two flavours without it being too much.

tiny ice cream shop with few selection of flavours- but they serve good quality gelato and sorbet. the flavours of their gelato is not too strong/rich- just light and tasty

best gelato in brisbane, hands down. we always get the take home pack because it’s just so damn good. so fresh with such a great variety of ever-changing flavours, plus the staple favourites. lucky we don’t live too close or we would be eating here way too often.

their italian hot chocolate is delicious too.

honestly by looking at their score, i’ve expected more than that.

ordered three flavours: rum & raisin, saffron and rose water for ice cream. they are both very icy and lack of flavour actually, also too sweet for me.

plum for sorbet is better than the other two but still below my expectation.

staff are very friendly through.
