by far my favourite breakfastplacein brisbane.
me and my partner are both vegetarian and thisplacereally delivers.
they have amazing coffee, juices and smoothies.
the breakfast portions are huge at a awesome price high they use high quality produce.
another plus is they have counter service no fuss order and pay , enjoy your meal
and leave without having to stress about one bill per table.

great spot, easyplaceto get new and exciting ingredients and enjoy a nice coffee. the breakfast menu is exactly what you want with the smoked salmon dish being my personal favourite. vegan and vegetarian catered for really well, staff in both the market and cafe have great knowledge about the range of products and dishes that they serve.

today i decided to go to paddington for breakfast and thought thisplacewould be a good option.

my partner had a scrambled tofu on sourdough and i had the vegan lentil pie from the byron bay pie company with a hot beverage.

the scrambled tofu was a huge serve and perfectly seasoned we both enjoyed it until the last bite, the sourdough was also fresh and perfectly toasted. would rate it a 4.5 out of 5.

the lentil pie was pleasant but nothing extraordinary, with a few pieces of tofu and other veggies with curried lentil, the crust was crunchy and it had been a long time since i've had a pie so i was definitely happy. would rate it a 4 out of 5.

overall i loved thisplaceand was really happy with the healthy store which is located in the same shop and it will definitely be one of my to go places when looking for something around paddington.

awesome place. good quality food if you're into vego places. the service is a bit slow and leisurely for my liking. could do with more outdoor seating like theplacenext door!

thisplaceis a consistently good spot for breakfast. the service here is friendly and efficient and the food is really cheap considering breakfasts are now around the $20 mark. i would recommend getting the make your own breakfast; i usually just get either avocado or scrambled eggs on toast and either a juice or a coffee and walk away with change from $15. one of my favourite spots in brisbane to eat breakfast and i really enjoy sitting outside and people watch while i eat. i have been coming here frequently for the last six or years and have no plans to change that.

i never get tired of fundies. the food here is delicious. i had a really yummy chocolate brownie today that was presented beautifully with yoghurt, berry coulis and lavender flowers.

we had lunch at fundies today and we're delighted with the food. we all ordered from the breakfast menu which is available until 2pm. my swiss mushrooms were huge and full of flavour. they were accompanied by a generous serving of perfectly wilted spinach (other places take note: no oil or water required), perfectly cooked haloumi and delicious sourdough bread that was lightly toasted. the only minor issue is that i ordered a chocolate black tea after my meal and they gave me a vanilla tea instead. i was slightly disappointed as i wanted to try the chocolate but it was still nice. we chilled for a while browsing the magazines and newspapers provided - a perfect lazy saturday afternoon. 5 stars!

a brilliantplacefor breakfast or lunch. the food is fresh, wholesome and also tasty. the service is friendly and efficient. the coffee is good and the babycino is free. i love the "design your own" breakfast available until 2pm at the weekend. the haloumi in ours was cooked to perfection. but, get there early. it does get busy.

i've eaten now at fundies for near on a decade. it's had a few ups and down during that time, service wise, however i've yet to see aplacethat has not. fundies dishes out consistently good, wholesome vegetarian and vegan food. their scrambled tofu is absolutely superb, coconut bircher musli covered in berries and toasted coconut chips is also a fantastic favorite. with a great salad selection you'd be forgiven for wanting to eat breakfast and lunch there, often. conveniently located next to a health food store, it's a must visit if you've not yet been.

if you want a healthy virtuous start to the day then fundies is definitely theplaceto go. they do a great range of salads and hot dishes, all chock full of organic goodness. some of the prices are quite high though, given the pretty ordinary surroundings in which you're eating. kind of feels like a throwback to 70s california.

i was disappointed with the service. they forgot that i put an order and if it wasn't because we asked we would have been waiting for longer. they also forgot to add a desert on the order. not aplacei will come back.

staff with bad attitudes. being a red hill local i would frequent fundies at least twice a week. yes there food is great and it complemented my vegan dietary requirements. however being confronted with moody staff with bad attitudes was at best a little tiresome. figuring maybe they are having a bad day i would always ignore it and wait for my food. after months of being subjected to these unpleasant staff i finally decided to find anotherplaceto eat where at least i would be greeted with a smile. is it not common courtesy to extend eye contact, a smile and even a thank you to your customers. i've since found better places to eat where the staff are welcoming, hospitable and friendly. i can safely say i won't ever return to fundies. thanks.

absolutely the best organic cafe in brisbane, just love the delicious breakfast and lunch, especially the yummy chai. friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere makes it the perfectplaceto chill with friends.

very loud; not theplaceto go for a quiet chat. quite popular with the "alternative" crowd. more good than bad.

best vegetarian breakfast and lunch ever! i've never been disappointed by the fabulous food, great coffee, excellent service, cosy setting or delicious menu options! i love thisplaceand recommend to all, vegetarian or not. the big breakfast is a must!
