french pantry french shamrtry. who the funk wants to wait 30 mins outside with a bunch of white trash workers in jacksonville for this food? get a new location and make sure that you are seated as soon as possible. one time i think i caught the random stranger next to me stealing a piece of my bruchetta! what the hell?

some secrets are hard to keep. it's so tempting to be selfish and leave this stone unturned but, alas, i found out about this hidden treasure from the almighty urbanspoon anyway so i guess there's no harm in enlightening a few more people.

one of my favorite lunch spots in all of jacksonville is the french pantry. located in what looks like an old warehouse, this place is truly a treasure. only open from 11-2:15, monday thru friday, there is almost always a line that goes out the door. seat

5 blocks from my office.. the french pantry has some really awesome food. it is not very fancy or quick, but it is good. sometimes there is a line out the door in the morning. their bread and rolls,

the french pantry. outstanding! decor is country french. seating is like europe where you sit at table with other dinners. service is fast and friendly. you order at counter sit down and food is brought to your table. menu changes daily so you are never bored. the food is wonderful. i have eaten in paris and this is every bit as good! the best of everything! bakery was fresh, food was unbelievable! price was low for the amount of food that you receive and the quality! my favorite lunch spot!

french pantry is my favorite restaurant, it does not have any glitter or glam, but it does have plenty of good food and desert. the people are also a plus. if your not from jax this place would be impossible to find without a local. i really don't know what else to say about this place except, "i love french pantry!". the next time i am back in jax on a week day you will find me for lunch at this restaurant. i can't wait for the next time.

my favorite restaurant. .
pros: friendly service, good food, great environment

cons: hours are lunch only

i have to say this restaurant rates the top in my book. i have always ordered the french dip sandwich, and never have i been disappointed!

i cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. i will have to say that the line is a testament for their quality and service. there is going to to be a wait, and get there as early as you can, as you will stand in line, and sometimes, they run out of ingredients!

if i, and other people, are willing to wait 30 minutes to order, one has to think that this restaurant is par above the rest!

i highly recommend this restaurant!

do not let the line scare you away.. run don't walk to the french pantry and close your eyes and pick anything from their menu, no matter what it will be fresh and delightful. i've been going here since 2004, when ever i'm in town this is a must for lunch, sometimes we stop in twice; rain or shine we'll wait in the long line for lunch here. you can not go wrong with anything on the menu everything is very fresh and worth every penny you pay. the dining area is small with tables on top of tables so be prepared to sit and eat with strangers it part of the french pantry's charm.

french farmhouse meets california casual. french pantry owners tim and barbara felver previously worked for wolfgang puck in la. good fortune for us, they now reign supreme over this improbable 5,000-square-foot warehouse plunk in the middle of the powers

made me smile. the food is awesome, its kind of a little pricey but the quality and freshness is out of control!

get there early, the seating is limited and you will wait in line.

freshness is the main idea here, simple good food!
