integrity(??)... we went to the fork on a friday night, party of three (my husband, daughter 19 and myself). at first sight, the place was not completely, as i expected but then i was fine. it took a little while before our server appears, but we were 20 minutes early on our reservation. we had clams and grilled artichoke for appetizers (very good). we ordered raviolis, ribs, and trout for entrées (good flavors). we shared a "chocolate lava vault" for dessert. since the dessert was taking forever to arrive, the server agreed to bring my husband a complimentary glass of wine (we had the same wine during dinner). when the dessert arrived, it was not as it was suppose to be (my husband is a former executive chef). it was runny chocolate soup with ice cream (good flavors). the server acknowledged that they had an "accident" when plating it, but they still served it… however, when checking my bill the next day, i discovered that we were charged $16.25 for the "complementary" glass of wine. we like fine dining and we have no problems spending for a good deserving dinner. however, this meal left a bitter taste in my mouth, when i realized that i had been fooled twice (that i know) during this experience. my husband and i who both work in the hospitality industry take great pride to treat our guests with respect and integrity. this place might provide acceptable food but at what price?
