the ambience is very good.its quiet.the lights r not that bright so gives you a personal space with your loved one.the day i went (ssturday i think) the menu was okay.not that great.the sweet corner was very nice.ive had better om ali though.all in all an okay experience.probably would be better on a special cuisine night im sure.

the first buffet i had in doha was in here 4 years ago.
i love this place because its quiet and its feels exclusive plus i admire how the torch looks like -modern.
the flying carpet have varieties of breakfast choices to choose from. im happy because they serve fried rice too!!! i know its weird for some but growing up in the philippines, rice is our staple food and we start our day with it. the place also have a live cooking station in how you wanted to have your eggs done.

it was my birthday when i went back here and had breakfast. im happy with their service. the guy who assisted with out needs even offered plates and cutleries for my birthday cake. it was awesome. i will definitely come back and recommend this place.

i really like this place. the food quality, the decoration are good. it’s family friendly, you can take your kids and they will also would like to get back here the soonest.

went for casual lunch buffet. the food was absolutely delicious. loved the biryani and chicken gravy. salads were tasty and the breads were soft and spongy. desserts were 4 in total and all of them tasted nice and different. grilled salmon was not good. pineapple juice was not so tasty. orange juice was not a fresh juice. it was sour and couldn't drink it. ambience is stunning and service is good.

we had really a nice breakfast.wide variety of food i liked there pastries the most croissant ,waffles and bread were fresh and tasty.fresh juices were nice.they offer also coffees and tea.135 per person. excellent service.

we went there for their surf n turf night. food was great. only thing is the shrimps and mussels are a bit overcooked to slightly burnt. over all the food were great. they accepted mybook vouchers during that time.

went here on a thursday night. i am really not a fan of buffet but flying carpet’s buffet is the best j have tried so far!

they have amazing varieties - from soups to salads, steaks to pastas, chicken to fish...you name it, they have it all!

the food is acceptable and the theme today is asian food. very little choices of asian food though, a little disappointed with that as we love asian food. otherwise food was ok. some varieties to choose from. the price for kid at 12 years old is incorrectly described as my child is 12 and are very little. i was lucky they only charged me kid's price for my child or i would feel being ripped off as my child did not even eat that much.

omg, my first restuarant food in doha . it did took me on flying carpet. bravo guys.
loved the seafood platter and also the steak ... yummy and also the sushi .

the beef strips was not crispy. omelette was just ok. chicken breast didn’t stand out. the salad choices were limited. veal sausage cold. the flying carpets were just like the beef strips.
i liked the tea they serve and the honey.
staff were helpful.
pastries were average.

went here with a group from our office and have truly enjoyed the visit.  the food and service is good, and the ambience is fantastic.  this place is one of the must visit… if you’re visiting the doha.  if you need a place to entertain friends and just relax, this should be one of the places you consider.  will visit here again.

aspire tower is a 300-meter-tall hotel, currently the tallest in qatar. it was the symbol of torch on the 2006 asian games and  as the landmark of the event, it can be seen in different parts of doha. hence it is also known as the torch doha. being intrigued by this iconic tower, i first fed my curiosity years ago when my girl-friends and i booked a dinner at three-sixty revolving restaurant – a fine dining restaurant inside the torch which offers a panoramic view of doha. it was indeed a magnificent night as we look around the luxurious hotel.

had been here recently. the ambience is good. i personally feel the buffet spread for dinner as well as breakfast is not that great. desserts were good during dinner & baked food items from the breakfast was spectacular. we weren’t happy with the dinner choices available. however breakfast looked far better. smoked salmon wasn’t fresh. the grilled chicken with mushroom sauce was too tough to have it.
the restaurant is on the m2 level (2nd floor). if your staying at the torch, u can always go to villagio mall & have your meals coz there is wide range of restaurants to choose from. also there is a bridge connecting directly from the torch to the villagio mall.

i had the chance to try the surf and turf buffet . a wide selection of appetizers and main dishes , you can have your keats and seafood prepared to taste . i liked the fish syadieh one of the yummiest dishes presented

thank you for a wonderful 5 days at the torch hotel. only one word- magnificent. we had a wonderful breakfast each day at the flying carpet. the staff and the quality and variety of food was first class throughout. thoroughly recommended.
