fizz burgers and bottles

very impressed. the venue is very casual and comfortable. the food was great. my wife had the spicy burger with sweet potato fries. i had the bacon burger with normal fries. the burgers were probably the best i have had in wichita. i have had better fries, but they were still very good. also, they have a great selection of beers and colas.

specifically the amazing cleanliness showed at every nook and cranny in the place, as well as outside. i always am a believer in cleanliness is next to godliness before i eat somewhere for the first time because it usually determines how good the food and service will be.

the quality of the food showed the same. i had a 1/2 lb burger w mushrooms, fries, and a blue reading root beer soda. it is too bad that i never heard of it before now because it is now the best burger in wichita in my opinion, which is quite a compliment. i have lived in ict for quite some time and it was very refreshing to have cleanliness, great food, and great service at reasonable prices.

one of the best. i've been here several times, and they never fail to impress. the fact that they have some unique bottled root beers is really cool, and being able to build your own burger is nice as well. i'm not personally a huge fan of their fries, but that's only because i prefer my fries a little less thick. everyone else i've taken here seems to love them. the burgers are always great, and they always cook them exactly as ordered.

if you're trying to find the best burger joint in wichita, you need to give fizz a try.

the burgers were great and the fries as well! the sweet potato fries were fantastic! service was great, they accommodated my food allergies, and the bathroom was very clean and warm!

gourmet burgers. there are plenty of places to get a good burger in wichita, but this one may be the best. lots of different burger options, or you can pretty much build your own. all are available as either 1/4 lb or 1/2 lb. burgers. fries are from scratch and they have several great dipping sauces that you can get to dip them in (i love the spicy ketchup). they call it "fizz" because you can choose from a huge selection of bottled sodas to drink with your meal. they've literally got like 8 different kinds of root beer, a half a dozen grape sodas, etc. fun place to eat.

my new favorite burger joint!. i got the boursin burger and it was delicious! they impressed me from the beginning by agreeing to cook my burger any way i like, and i like my burger medium rare! there was plenty of cheese and the onions were carmelized perfectly. the fries were delicious and their roasted garlic sauce was to die for. the cake balls are delicious as well. the house burger with homemade pickles looked delicious and my friend said it was very tasty. my other friend had the tortilla salad and she said it was very tasty. everything looked delicious!

our waiter was very attentive and the atmosphere was clean and friendly. we could see the kitchen from our table and it looked very clean. they have a nice patio too. i will probably go back in the evening next time and enjoy a cold beer with my tasty burger!

but what fizz is probably best loved for is their fries. they have some great traditional skin-on fries (my favorite kind!), shown here in a pic from their website with what looks like a mushroom and swizz burger.

great new place..... just tried fizz last night....great burgers, and hand -cut fries - a hugh plate of them, enough for two people, plus many dipping sauces to choose from. the cake truffles were so yummy! kind of cakey, kind of dense like cheesecake.....a great little bite of somethng delicious to end the meal. eager to go again and try other things on the menu!

best burger in ict. my philosophy when it comes to burgers is go to wendy's. for the price i always think wendy's does a great job. there are exceptions and, fizz is one of them. fizz takes the burger to the next level. fresh baked buns, juicy burger with lots of flavor, great toppings. i love their sweet potato fries with the garlic aoili.

best part is the soda selection. they have every kind of bottled soda pops, even cheer wine.

one of the best burgers in town!. my friends and i were hungry for burgers yesterday after all of the christmas shopping madness and decided to stop by and try fizz. i can tell you, that it was one of the best decisions we made all day! i had the spicy burger, which packs a just the right amount of "kick" and was very juicy (helps when the ingredients are fresh!)! the fries were okay, not bad but nothing too special. next time, i hope to try the sweet potato fries, as i hear they're pretty good! hands down, one of the best burgers i've had in wichita!

the burger was juicy and i actually spotted some pink in the middle! hooray, another place that knows how to make a burger better than 5 guys. the cheese and bacon were icing on the cake of this delicious beefy patty. i went with the regular fries, which were nice and thick.it would have been better had they added some more seasoning to the fries, but ketchup made up for that. the only other issue i had was the fact that the burgers do not come with fries, you must order them separately. phil’s parents ordered the spicy and the swiss mushroom. both thoroughly enjoyed their burgers as well. we both really enjoyed fizz and would add it to the list of places to get a good burger in town. you cannot go wrong with a place that serves good beer and good burgers, so go and check it out.

we go once a week!. we live at 37th and rock and, to be honest, we weren't very excited when we heard there was a burger place opening where amici's had been. my family is in the cattle business and there are two things i don't get when i'm out to eat: prime rib and hamburgers. it just normally leads to a huge disappointment no matter how many rave reviews i hear beforehand. i am very excited that fizz is an exception!

we have now been a few dozen times and my husband and i both agree that we think it's the best burger in wichita. everything is hand-made and it really shows. i prefer the house burger made with the roasted garlic sauce while my husband prefers the spicy burger. we always get the regular fries- although we've heard from people that prefer the sweet potato fries- both are hand-cut. you automatically get to pick one of the hand-made dipping sauces to go with your fries (there is no extra charge) so i would encourage everyone to try them. our favorites are the roasted garlic and the garlic aiola.

since we cannot eat burgers and fries all the time- i have also tried the salads. i really enjoy the house salad with the chicken. the chicken still comes out hot from the grill right onto the salad which is how it should be in my opinion! the dressing is a pecan-ranch style with a tiny bit of spice that makes it unique and delicious. it also comes with pecans and home-made croutons.

the cakeballs are good and worth the $2 in our opinion. the german chocolate is delicious.

we have not tried out the other sandwiches or any of many "bottles" of beverages that they serve so i can't comment on that. i was impressed that they have pb&j and macaroni & cheese both on the kids menu.

the service has always been great when we've dined in- we have a small child and they have always been very accommodating. we've also gotten take-out several times and our order has always been perfect when we get it home. we think the restaurant will be great for wichita and look forward to our many future visits!

fizz was awesome. i went here on my birthday and loved it!!!

i live very close and have driven by it often. i had been wanting to try someplace new that was in the area, but the last time i did that i was greatly disappointed.

so my husband decided to let it be my choice of where to go on my birthday. i decided that i was in the mood for somewhere new. we went in and got our seats quickly and had great service. the menu had some really great choices, but not too many to overwhelm me. i order the bacon cheeseburger and my husband had the bbq pulled pork sandwich. we also decided to split an order of the sweet potato fries. the whole meal was absolutely delicious!!! my burger was very juicy and melted in my mouth. my husband's sandwich was juicy and the bbq sauce was wonderful. we have never had sweet potato fries before, but we love sweet potatoes. those fries were the perfect combination of something a little sweet and salty mixed together. we will definitely be back!!!!

so glad to have a new place to eat, where i felt like i got what i paid for. if you are near the 37th and rock rd. area, fizz is the place to go!!!

great burgers, sauces nothing special. my wife and i took our two daughters to fizz last night. an eclectic, contemporary decor makes for a spartan but fresh environment. the burgers are anything but spartan, though. i built my own burger and was impressed with both the size of the half-pound burger and the quality of the ingredients. my wife ordered a 1/4-pound burger with "extra crispy" bacon. she is particular when it comes to bacon and fizz delivered by topping her burger with crispy, well-done bacon to her delight.

fizz is unusual in this space as they grinds the beef in-house and from what i could tell cooks a loose-packed patty on a flat-top for a burger that will please anyone wanting a flavorful, greasy burger. further, they have a good selection of bottle beer and wine to enjoy with your burgers.

we ordered a family plate of fries, which were either hand-cut or very good frozen natural cut fries. the family plate was sufficiently enough for me, my wife and two small kids with a few left over. don't mess with the dipping sauces though. as another reviewer says, they aren't that special, and the fries actually taste best with ketchup anyway.

my kids enjoyed the cakeballs that our server brought them at the end of the meal. our server was friendly, conversational but not imposing.

one other thing: if any of you want a real cheeseburger salad - greens topped with a burger patty with cheese - they have it at fizz.

overall a great experience. we will be back.
