service needs major help!. while the food at fisher's is good, their service is lacking. we asked questions about the menu, specifically what the seasonal abita beer was and where the oysters were from. we were informed that despite what the menu said, they didn't have a seasonal beer and they only had 1 oyster "choice", not 2, as listed. they were apparently out of the 1 by the glass rosé option as well. this was not memorial day weekend, this was 3 days after, which is plenty of time for a restaurant to restock.
after ordering an entree it was delivered to the table not as represented. when questioned about it they conceded that they used the wrong shrimp and would remake the entree. the food was left in front of the guest. after 10 minutes the server came over and asked if she could remove it, we said yes. the manager then came over to scold us for sending it back! she was extremely passive aggressive and rude. apparently she thought she could just have the correct shrimp cooked and then dump them into an already prepared, now cold from sitting out on the table, dish.
we have never been made to feel like idiots at a restaurant before, but the manager at fisher's succeeded.

food is good. best bread pudding i've ever had. perfect atmosphere for lunch or a date night. will recommend and return.

kentucky. the worst restaurant in orange beach!!!!! party of 8 dined there. food was cold and not like description on menu. i ordered the lettuce wedge and that's what i got.....plain lettuce the dressing was supposed to be creamy garlic but tasted like plain mayo. waited 15 minutes for bill after everyone else had paid!! never eat there again!!!

service horrible. worst customer service of any food establishment i have ever entered.

not good. just finished brunch here. bacon was not cooked. overall, food was horrible. oysters were bigger than 3 crackers. not edible. the hash browns were some mushy cake like thing. even with jalapeños, tabasco, and ketchup, the hash browns were not edible. i will not be coming back here.

not bad but not great either. shrimp and grits was very bland and needed salt badly. remoulade sauce with crab claws was a very mayo tarter sauce not a true remoulade.
with that said, the dock side setting was fantastic! this would be my pick for afternoon cocktails and beer.

yes. finally, an outstanding dinner destination on the gulf.... romantic with exceptional decor, great outdoor seating and bar. outstanding fresh gulf offerings like red snapper and flounder stuffed with shrimp - many dishes with a genuine touch of new orleans flavor for those who miss the crescent city. favorites included oysters earle, pork cheek with butternut squash, above-mentioned fish entrees. crab claws were yummy. didn't get a chance to try the crawfish beignets or any of the salads but can't wait to return to try them. top-notch desserts: lemon buttermilk pie was out of sight, house-made sorbet was great and creme brulee with fresh blueberries was comforting as it should be. almost forgot cocktails! fisher's special bacon-infused bloody mary mix is awesome, but do yourself a favor and get the old fashioned if you're a bourbon drinker. as a new orleans native & foodie, i've been vacationing along the gulf my whole life and am so happy to have this new essential dining destination. johnny fisher, the gm and chef bill briand clearly love what they do and it shows!

food was great but service was excruciatingly slow. yellowfin tuna was delicious. drink orders took forever. it took 30 minutes to tell me that they could make the drink i ordered. again the food was perfect!

fantastic new restaurant.

average at best. each of the four dinners ordered were not terrible but far from good. average at best. sides were added to the bill that should have been included in the price per the menu. asked the waiter and was given a jumbled response of ultimate confusion.

atmosphere is a huge improvement from calapso's but i went there to eat! will not go back.

fine dining at the beach and you can wear shorts and sandals if you like, menu has been different every time i have been ,some items are staples but always a great off menu selections and never disappointed service is great and very attentive and usually a table has two. always keeps the label on the wine facing your as it is opened ,turn the cork not the bottle, proper wine service. should be considered for james beard for the south,equal to highland bar and grill.

while the food is delicious be prepared to have no value. small portions offering robust flavor, but no southern hospitality. (fisher’s upstairs restaurant)
