fish house restaurant

may 30. dinner was pretty good! waitress started out ok then it all went downhill when she made an error on my dinner order. will we go again maybe but will hoprwe don't get her again. we even tipped her well above 20% not even a goodnight!

we enjoyed this place immensely! our server was excellent and almost intuitive regarding our needs. we shared the mussels and a blackened grouper sandwich, portions were ample and the food was great! mussels could have used more garlic but were superb as served. based on how responsive the restaurant was with our other requests i’m confident we could have gotten more garlic if we’d only asked. will definitely visit again.

low quality, expensive for limit portions, and poor service.
if rating a zero was possible, this would be a zero. seafood soup is watered down and full of potatoes. grouper basket was very fishy and only a small amount was provided. bathroom has a strong bad smell. this place might of been good at one time, but it seems to running on past performances.

awesome seafood !!! the best i have had in the last 1 year in us. as a person from india, was used to spicy food and this place catered well to my indian taste buds :)

poor service. i have been to this restaurant at least five times but our experience tonight was horrible!
i took my sister who was visiting from out of state. we were told upon our arrival that the only outside table available was near the entrance , literally in a bush right against a
very loud air conditioning compressor. we said it would' be ok, figuring it was outside and not being complainers.
no one asked if we were waiting until a very helpful young man took our drink order after we had been there for awhile....... he was apparently not our waiter but said he would help us. finally a girl came out of the testaurant with our glasses of wine, put them on our table, said she would be right back, acted frustrated and busy, and left. we saw an extremely young "host " walking by and asked if we could move to a better table if one opened up. he rudely said "no" because we were already seated. so we asked the hostess when she walked by the same question and he came over and rudely yelled. "they can 't move!" it was appalling! no one had even taken out food order and we left because it was so ridiculous. the waitstaff was obviously not well-trained! i'm not sure i will ever return. that 12 year old boy needs not to be there!
we then went to another seafood establishment where we had a high quality dining experience and were quite satisfied.

no reservations. i just tried to make a reservation at the bonita springs location and they do not take them.

keep looking elsewhere table of 9 everything was poor at best

good food, good waterside setting, fair not great barging prices.

excellent meal!!!!

paella was decent, while i heard from others in my group that the grouper, crab, and key line pie were very good.

food was outstanding - conch chowder, grouper, and key lime pie. great setting with outdoor tables on the water.

second time here and both times we loved our meal and the service. tonight we had the smoked fish dip and the doz raw oysters. casual atmosphere, cheap beer and great for kids. good prices too!!

average food. would only go back if we could sit next to the water. cheap plastic table had an uneven base and was distracting.

the fish house is amazing! i highly recommend the fish basket, it is delicious. everyone in my party was very happy with their meal. the fish house has excellent happy hour specials. it's a little hard to find, but so worth it!

great food but pass on the key lime pie. have had it at this location & in fort myers beach. both times it was runny.
