great pizza in leesburg. a friend and i discovered the place because a local artisan goat cheese farm in maryland - whose cheese we enjoy a lot - sells to fireworks. we've tried a number of pies over the last couple of months and they've all been very, very good. our hands down favorite is the margherita. the cherry tomatoes have very thin tender skins and burst with flavor. they must be heirloom.
what sets these folks apart are three things. first, the ingredients are first rate. they obviously source from local farms and it shows. second, the thin crust has just the right amount of chewiness and crunch. finally, they are very consistent. every time we've been the experience has been the same - all of it positive.
they can get busy on a friday and saturday evening, but the staff is always organized. the parking is also pretty good, although the lot directly in front of the restaurant fills up fast. there's more parking just down the street on the right. give them a try.
