great pizza in leesburg. a friend and i discovered the place because a local artisan goat cheese farm in maryland - whose cheese we enjoy a lot - sells to fireworks. we've tried a number of pies over the last couple of months and they've all been very, very good. our hands down favorite is the margherita. the cherry tomatoes have very thin tender skins and burst with flavor. they must be heirloom.

what sets these folks apart are three things. first, the ingredients are first rate. they obviously source from local farms and it shows. second, the thin crust has just the right amount of chewiness and crunch. finally, they are very consistent. every time we've been the experience has been the same - all of it positive.

they can get busy on a friday and saturday evening, but the staff is always organized. the parking is also pretty good, although the lot directly in front of the restaurant fills up fast. there's more parking just down the street on the right. give them a try.

delicious blue monkey pizza...perfect combo for delectable flavors...the rosemary practically hugs your tongue... though if your avoiding bacon its a no go...but it is delicious!

we always enjoy the long list of pizza varieties and the beer menu, which incorporates many regional brews. it can be quite crowded at times, but the service we receive is always good.

great pizza...awesome, crispy pizza crusts and real fresh ingredients and wood-fired flavours. our friendly waiter, marc suggested we can order half and half signature pizzas and we went for it. glad we visited this place to take home some good pizza taste with us to new zealand. keep the fireworks burning guys!!!

don't waste your time we waited for over 40 minutes, went to use the restroom and was verbally harassed by another guest (pounding on the door and saying obscenities) i told the guy i was not going to take his crap and i was the one that was asked to leave.  the management is totally out of touch and upper management is a waste of time.  stay away from this place.  was there two times before and food was good but the way this situation was handled was totally wrong.  my advice is stay away and spend your money else where

no flavor. we ordered 3 different pizzas with different toppings. they all tasted the same- no flavor! crust was good and crisp, sauce had no flavor and i don't know how veggies and meat toppings end up tasting so bland. calamari was also rubbery and unseasoned.

won't be back

creative pies. fireworks is a wonderful place to go if you want some variety in your pizza consumption. i've tried quite a few of their pies, such as the smokey blue, fireworks, virginia luau and firecracker.

i always find myself choosing the smokey blue for the amazing combination gorgonzola, delicious bacon, and their wonderfully sweet balsamic reduction. it's the best $20 you'll ever spend on a pizza.

all of the food was good but honestly this wasn't my favorite pizza place. assuming that the other other location in arlington is fairly similar i was excited to try this place to see who beat my beloved pupatella in the northern virginia magazine slice is right challenge.

pizza quality declining. it seems fireworks pizza in leesburg is suffering from too much demand and can't keep up with the quality of the food. i ordered a pizza and 2 large house salads for pick and arrived within 15 minutes of calling in my order. the pizza crust was hard on the edges and almost flavorless - tasting like it may have been pre-cooked and my toppings were the only fresh additions. my salads - which are one of my favorite items in this restaurant were very sparse with ingredients and some of the lettuces were old, wilted, and yellowed. very disappointing as this used to be one of my favorite places to eat - been going there since it first opened. no longer, i'm afraid - time to find another place that still values quality.

its average. it was "okay." it was loud, the service was okay, but the pizza wasn't that great. the place is tiny and you have to yell to be heard. too many other great places to go to spend money here.
