worst eggs benedict. their holondaise sauce was cold and tasted like mayo and sugar. the egg was cooked solidly through and extremely dry.
the waitress apologized - but wouldn't take themealback or discount the bill. it was like the kitchen had never made the dish before.

the french toast was good from what my brother had.

severely dissapointed with their service and meal. don't waste your time here.

so it's monday night. 20 people and two servers. should be cool huh? burger and fries were served cold. hello! you let mymealsit somewhere before being served. shame. did you ask me how it was? no. then try to pay by visa "have to go to the terminal at the bar". ok. but where did you go? stood around. fine. after five minutes paid cash throwing down less than $2.00 tip. walked out. a monday night. what goes? 20 people means 10 each per server. pathetic. she seemed to have "personal" issues going on like "i need to speak to you" to a female patron. what about us? we pay your wages. so sad. too bad.

a personal favourite. i've been going to fargos for a long time, and i've always found the food to be exceptional, especially given the price range. a few days ago i went with a rather large group, and i was so astounded by the service that i felt it necessary to post this review. here's my story:

the day before our outing, i called the restaurant to make a reservation for 30+ people. fargos always seems to be fairly empty, so i was a tad concerned that they might not be able to accomodate such a large group in a timely fashion. let me tell you, this is not the case. within 10 minutes of being seated, we had all received our drink orders and had our food orders taken. within 25 minutes of that, all 37 of us had received our food. i was shocked. from the time we'd entered the restaurant to the time we'd finished eating and went to pay, it had been 1 hour and 15 minutes. for a group of almost 40 people, without a set menu or any other time-minded practices that large groups tend to use, this was astounding. not a single person had any complaints about their food, and we will certainly be returning time and time again in the future.

the service is great, the food is fantastic, and you can easily get a fullmealfor under $15. i cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

great value. fargo's is a regular stop for me for 3 reasons. tasty food, ample portions and great prices. rarely can you get a good sit-downmealfor under $15... fargo's provides this. i have not had a badmealthere and i always leave with my belly full.

service can be slow at times, but this is on the rare occasion when both the restaurant and bar are full. this is normally when there are eskimo or oiler home games. they run a very affordable burger, beer and bus ride special.

update: they have had a change of menu and many of their best items have been removed. because of this, fargo's is no longer a regular stop of mine.
