another amazing time. my daughter's flight was delayed coming into san diego and we had to cancel our reservations at another restaurant so we decided to go to extraordinary desserts since they serve late. again, another amazing panini and grilled cheese followed by two wonderful desserts.

it's a dessert museum! everything looks like a flower arrangement and it's almost too pretty to eat. it's named “best dessert” & “best bakery” and popular to locals and tourists alike. not to be missed!

staff unfriendly and very cold. we went here for my birthday and didn't get even a greeting from our waiter, one who said "well, if it looks like tira misu it must be tira misu.". a smile from anyone of the staff wouldve been quite helpful- it was cold and uninspiring and we were extremely disappointed. food was good, service baaad.

unique. you can usually expect a long wait to buy your dessert and find a table. the experience is worth it. extraordinary desserts at extraordinary prices. it really is a unique dessert experience with beautifully-presented well-made desserts of all kinds--but it's really expensive.

such beautiful desserts!! the hard part is trying to pick just one. we had the chocolate tiramisu, which was divine! so moist and not too sweet. i wish i could have tried all of them!

my boyfriend and i went there after dinner. the strawberry coffee cake and berry cobbler desserts were delicious! everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was nice.

retro/contemporary appeal. this branch is larger with more dessert selections, cheese plates, appetizers and panini/sandwiches. my sister and i had the tofu panini is excellent for the vegetarian palate. the have vegan options as well for their sandwiches/paninis. our friend had the grilled cheese and she liked it. the best part, of course, were the desserts. i had the strawberry mini scone and a petit raspberry danish. my friend had a chocolate cookie and the apple croissant pudding (this is wonderful). my sister had a berry/custard dessert with a meringue on top. the teas are great. i recommend the love is chocolate and chocolate tears.

eh!. the choices change daily. my choice was a chocolate truffle cake. the cake was so so, basically a devil's food cake. but! the ice cream was so good. custard base with a nice flavor.
