2 stars for the variety of the bufette versus the price

it became very touristic that the service is not good anymore

the variety is very poor

food quality is average but hey the place is in the palace hotel.... so lets go!!

they really have to work on the food quality, presentation , food variety and service

had a friday brunch here today:

✅ pros:
+ great food: lots of choices and everything very fresh - foie gras and duck pancakes were just perfect!
+ beautiful setting with burj khalifa views if you are sitting outside
+ plates were cleared away swiftly

❌ cons
- the staff could not explain properly the drinks that were included in the package and would only name one of type of juice out of available 4 or 5 available
- the bill was twice the amount we were supposed to pay and the staff did not even act surprised when we pointed this out
- inside seating is definitely not recommended as it is very dark and rather gloomy

indian theme nights just got a lot more interesting! last thursday, we were invited to a desi extravaganza with the launch of indian street food bazaar at palace downtown. the first indian theme night of its kind at ewaam restaurant, it covers every aspect of indian cuisine right from street food favorites like chaat and samosas to kebabs, curries and biryani, and of course, the endless selection of indian desserts. celebrating the various street food delicacies from around the cities of india, the restaurant is decked up with street style carts, lamps and arty pieces that embrace the spirit and taste of indian cuisine.

loved the ambiance and food at ewaan. we had 1001 flavours brunch non alcoholic last friday.

for the food:

there was a lot of options to choose from. you can go for arabic, british, chinese, french cuisine and a lot more. roast station and seafood was the best for me.

ambiance:

we opted to be seated outdoors for the awesome view of burj khalifa and their outdoor pool.

service:

staff were accomodating with 5* service quality!

overall:

i have always been a fan of emaar properties due to their service standards and quality. kudos to the team.

we came here on a wednesday night for the buffet dinner, and from the moment we came in their hospitality was on point. all staff is friendly, smiling and making sure you have a great time. we choose to sit outside (lovely in the winter time) to have a nice view of burj khalifa and sneakpeak of the fountain show. food wise it’s an arabic theme buffet with alot of variety from starters to mains courses and desserts, there is a buffet inside with and a grill station outside with different beef/chicken and alot of fish options freshly grilled in front of you. to complete the arabic theme there was a bellydanser and some other arabic performens and shisha is also available to sit back and relax after a nice dinner.
overall an hidden gem in dubai but deff recommend you to go there and you won’t be dissapointed, and guess what? it’s on entertainer 1+1!

visited the place last holidays, december to be exact. i like the the outdoor ambience with the burj khalifa view, the pool and the nature outside. food was okay only there were certain dishes that was very light tasting. we love the bread & sweets corner. but over all experience was good. 👌

one of the better brunches in dubai with a wide variety of seafood and meats! plenty of seafood salads, cold seafood and also warm juicy grills. the lobster is fantastic and the shrimp is succulent and perfected! sushi is all right and the variety of rolls is poor but the quality of both salmon and tuna is great! just look at that huge tuna being sliced up for sushi and sashimi! the oysters could be bigger and meatier but nevertheless it’s nice to have the option to have a few with bubbly! one of very few brunches to serve pan grilled foie gras and scallops as well as caviar! the variety of meats is great however i tend to focus more on the seafood choices available because charcoal grilled lobster and shrimp taste incredible and isn’t something you’d have often at home. great brunch and one of my favorites

the place feels like a palace as you walk in and polite waiters are all around to cater to your requests. we dined here on a special occasion for a weekday lunch. limited but a carefully laid out spread. loved their dolma and lamb ouzi that i went for seconds. desserts were simply yummy especially their toffee pudding and chocolate cake with just the right amount of sweetness. will definitely return soon! thank you ewaan

went there with a big group of friends who come from different backgrounds so we had different types of foodies.

we wanted to go to either ewaan, hanayaa or arboretum, but we found out that this was classified as a "fine dining" restaurant so we went there.

we tried their thursday buffet which they said that it was supposed to be an international buffet with mostly oriental choices.

unfortunately, in comparison with many other restaurants within the same price range in many other prestigious hotels, the buffet was not really up to our expectations.

we expected to see much more options in all sections whether the hot appetizers, the main dishes or the desserts.

at least 60% of the food variety was seafood/fish which was not very suitable for those who didn't eat such items.

the overall spread was limited in comparison to other buffets (like kitchen 6, the market at hilton habtoor, atnaltis' kaleidoscope and saffron...etc)

the desserts were below expectations not only in terms of variety, but also in terms of flavor and professionalism. the only thing that made it up for us was the live crepe station.

in terms of service, although the poor waiters were very polite and tried to be as attentive as possible is was very clear that they were under staffed as they were jumping from one table to another non stop trying to please all guests. which isn't something excusable in such hotel!

to sum up, the experience was okay, but not the kind that would make you come back again. especially that with such price range (240aed for food only) there are many places that i can think of which serve more food without quality compensation. many of them would have the drinks included as well.

visited the place for an office dinner.
was greeted by great staff and perfect ambience.
the buffet was worth having, specially the live grills, which added to great atmosphere.
the spectacular view was an add on to the great buffet dining experience altogether.

disclaimer-i attended a dinner sponsored by a pharma company yesterday night.
a place to relive your arabian nights fantasy in every senses!!
ambience-5/5. beautiful, burj khalifa, dreamy surroundings. blue waters. top notch.
interiors-5/5. the finest draperies-indoor and outdoor. arabian grandeur. palatial decor with brown woodworks. artistic architecture.
lascivious belly dancers!!
food- 5/5. buffet arranged with soulful art. very attractive small tents with styles. live cooking stations. separate stations for special items. like lamb ouzi. fish sayadieh. classics.
taste-5/5. all of them- magnificent. specially liked the lamb chops- utterly delicious. prawn fries. cheese platters. different sauces and fresh creams. parathas. fresh salads -huge varieties. arabic sweets- the date puddings and umm ali. pineapple cake.
service. 4.5/5. personal care. one small grouch-my friend was told that he can't take a 7 up because he already took a pepsi!!
the outdoor seating area is suitable for a king in his private mughal garden!! here fresh grills are prepared. the lobster and lamb chops were very tasty. alsp a traditional lugaimat station.
a truly fantastic experience for me. eventhough i have been to innumerable arabic restaurants in dubai and saudi arabia.
this is arabic fine dining at it's best. truly luxurious.
