opted for the lunch buffet by using the groupon voucher.
was pretty upset with how the staff welcomed us. the lady at the entrance had an expression as if she was paying for our lunch.

the buffet however, was above average. a lot of choices from around the world.
the roasted beef was on a live cooking station, but tasted raw and bland.
the charocoal grilled sheesh tawook and lamb kofta were fresh and cooked to perfection.

unfortunately we were assigned a waiter to our table named dharma along a few others as well. he lied saying we said we were using entertainer vouchers instead of groupon which meant we had to pay for the soft drinks.
even though thefoodwas pretty good, the waiter serving our table was a negative.
in the end the manager agreed it was a miscommunication between us and the waiter.
we were unhappy, but atleast it was solved.

ewaan reminds me of agrabah (disneys alladin).
from the moment we reach the valet parking, i feel like i am a prince entering a palace.
my friends and i took the stairs (at night, it's usually crowded to take the elevator) and reached the gate to the restaurant.
we were seated in an arabian style "vip" room covered with luxurious curtains and we were alone and pampered.
the seating was comfortable and the atmosphere of the restaurant had a royal feel to it.
we got up to invade the buffet, which was simply delicious and inviting.
they had everything! arabic, italian, steak, seafood, desert and best of all, a crepe station (we had to race the kids to be the first in line).
generally, had some of everything and let me just say that i am thankful we wore loose linen pants :p
after wards we ordered morrocan tea and what served was really awesome service. each of us got a small tray with the teapot, cup, sugar cup amd spoon. it looked like personalized silver-plated china. we felt special.
all in all, ewaan was a perfect experience to socialize with great company and awesomefood(but make sure you reserve your place)

we went to try their lunch buffet. the interior is gorgeous. service was good. the waiters were warm and helpful. however thefoodwas okay. they did have a wide spread of food. i was very disheartened coz i am a huge sushi lover... and the sushis which they had were really pathetic! why keep something which is not even average, leave alone good! also the seafood section wasn’t upto the mark, mostly there was a stench. main course also was just okay....desserts were thankfully good... so indulged in it... 😃🙏

place is luxurious and all, but thefoodis just not on the level. tried their friday brunch. most dished were arabic and not tasty as one would expect. the crowd at the buffet was a bit rude, lot's of old people in a rush to get their preferred dish.

it was our 8 wedding anniversary and ewaan was a treat to celebrate our soo special occasion there. after saloan at grosvenor house ill rate ewaan palace the best available buffets in dubai in terms of taste. surely it was amazing ull get that wow factor which is absent in large quantity meals. hmmm it was exotic and satisfying for every person as i haven't seen soo many verities in each section offoodyou will get bbq ull gets roast in all form of meat and you'll get lots n lots of stews ... then seafoodin grilled,fried,steamed and raw😳👍 every thing was just perfect . a huge array of salads beautifully presented will also charm you but my advice focus on meaty stuff as you cant have enough. oh yes the ambience will surely grab you for being in a real palace its very classy with dim lights candles on the table high ceilings and earthy floor will surely give u a royal feel. there is no clear view of burj and it doesn't matter as u will be really busy eating. the cherry on the cake was a special exclusive pastry cake with a candle served us directly from the kitchen as a surprise for celebrating our anniversary there ... must try specially for buffet lovers.

went on thursday night for a dinner. my expectations were really high, but i couldn't find anything special in terms of food.
good points: staff was extremely helpful and caring, ambience is nice. complimentary cake was also good. but the variety offooddidn't impress me.

sensational views of the dubai fountain and burj khalifa . perfect setting for an arabian dining experience. however thefoodwasn’t up to the mark.

ewaan is one of the luxurious places in dubai .. very suitable for romantic night .. but if you are going for thefoodthis is not the right place .. i went with my fiancée on wednesday arabian night .. not muchfoodvarieties infood.. very limited menu .. but the decor and the view is amazing .. belly dancer .. egyptian helahopa made it really arabian night

(may 9, 2016) absolutely loved this place! seating and overall atmosphere were charming. staff was friendly, helpful and attentive.
food was amazing. the buffet had a wide variety offoodand cuisines. salads and appetizers galore; main courses stretched out to acccomodate all tastes, with some prepared fresh as you wait; decadent dessert selection (including freshly made crepes and a chocolate fountain).
everything i tried was delicious, well seasoned, and fresh (made especially evident by the yummy sushi and fresh oysters). there was a coconut pudding kind of dessert in a cup that wasn't quite on point, though. a little watery and not as flavorful as the other desserts.
complementary moroccan tea was brought out for us after our meal, which we loved.
really looking forward to going back again!

we decided to go to the iftar here this evening and it was one of the worst meals i have had in a long time. we went with a friend who hadnt been to iftar before so we were keen to take him to a really good one, but unfortunately this wasn't the case.

to start the hot mezze was put out on the table too early so it was cold, we excused this as working in hospitality myself i understand the struggles of getting significant amounts offoodout quickly. we then tried the buffet which was cold on one side, it was such a shame as there was an opulent spread of currys and stews which looked really nice but sadly was not even luke warm but cold. we then went to try the pasta section which was hot, but over cooked so it was inedible.

after 2 plates of inediblefoodwe decided to bring it up with our waitor whom we explained it to, whom then got us a manager whom we again explained our issues to once again. over all it was not handled with any rudeness and we were offered a la carte, but they weren't too aplogetic and it was clear why after. only water and arabic juices are included in the iftar which was surprising for a buffet that costs aed 225. we declined the offer of a la carte because we got the impression that the staff weren't taking our complaints very graciously and felt a little uncomfortable. we asked for our drinks bill, which i personally would have comped for the inconvenience, as all our feedback was fair, thefoodwas cold. when we got the bill they had not only charged us for the extra soft drinks but also the local water that was on the table for the iftar. i felt this was quite cheeky and not really very fair. the customer service was pretty bad and thefoodeven worse, i expected much better from a notorious five star hotel in the heart of dubai.

this is my third visit to ewaan’s buffet, and i have to say it is one of the best buffets in town. once was for iftaar and a couple of times for the friday brunch. they have an exquisite spread, it is almost impossible to list them down.from seafood to salads to indian and arabianfood& even dimsums. they are all delicious and the staff is as courteous as it gets.
