not the greatest location by the railroad bridge but nice repurposing of an industrial building. eclectic furnishings with lots of over-stuffed couches. i had the hot and spicy pizza. the sauce was very rich. crispy, thin crust with plenty of toppings.

old favorite for me. i was raised in spokane and have been coming to europa for years. it was always a family treat to come here. my mom is full italian and our extended italian family would come here for big dinners in the past. i used to go here every birthday dinner. it used to be more of a pizza place, but i really enjoy the other dishes and the bakery or dessert items. i particularly enjoy the sweet pepper (name?) tortellini. it is a well known place, but i think it might be a little underrated. i always forget about it for some reason. will have to stop by again soon.

slow & dull. strange place, kind of like a grandmom's apartment. the service seriously took forever and the food was good, but not worth the wait. seemed very disorganized, and at lunch anyway, it was mostly big tables of office groups. way too kitchy for me. had coffee in the bar afterward, wished i'd eaten there instead.

the worst service. we are frequent diners at europa and our last experience was horrible. our server made it very clear she didn't like her job and unfortunately we suffered because of it...forgotten drinks, half of our dinner came out while she chitchatted with someone, ignoring the other 2 dinners. probably one of the worst dining experiences we've had in recent times. the food is great but the lack of attention to detail on the service side really makes us rethink going back anytime soon.

i have heard that they have been here forever.
for what i know the building surely has .. it not the restaurant ..

went for their happy hours some time back and loved every bit of it :)
i bet they must have one of the best one in spokane .. not just in terms of drinks but food too.
we had the toasted ravioli and bruschetta .. wine beer and more. :d
everything was nice .. the bruschetta is a good company for long drinks sessions .. hehe.

the service was a bit slow but they did inform us in the beginning so that was fine.
good fresh food .. warm service .. great happy hours .. nothing else to ask.

the only thing is that they are getting old so the furniture etc, though it looks pretty, it is getting old too .. but that you could only notice either while waiting for food or not enjoying enough .. i did that waiting :d

horrible service!!! horrible management skills!!! expect a wait! we just left this restaurant after being there an hour and a half with nothing more than some water and an appetizer. at that rate we would b there for another 2 hours just to eat a meal. and when the manager/owner was informed that we wanted to cancel our dinner order so we could pay for our app and leave, we were told via waitress that it was too late. as i approached the "owner", since she didn't have the decency to acknowledge us herself, i was basically told to "fly a kite" for lack of a better word. poor poor service. will be spreading the word about our experience this evening. on multiple media sources!

this restaurant located near the train tracks in downtown spokane is a unique place to have a sit down meal. the gaudy interior provides a laid back setting. a menu offers italian focused options at a price range from 8$ to 16$. the meals were average and i would suggest pursuing the entrees.

we went to europa for restaurant week, and it was fantastic! we got there just as they were shutting down, and they served us anyway. the food was amazing: we had the prawns with risotto and the duck breast with homemade pasta. everything was delicious!

great pasta with gluten free options. i hadn’t been to europa in ages (literally since the 1990’s). i was very pleased with our dinners. our appetizer sampler was huge and delicious. all of our entrees were quite tasty. they have gluten free breads and pasta, at extra charge. that made me happy. i don’t mind paying more for gluten free. it costs more for the restaurant to make gluten free items.

our server was kind and attentive. she even stowed my umbrella for me. she was a sweetheart.

the interior still has old world charm. but you can tell the interiors are current and well kept.

after dining at europa, i was saddened that i had missed such a great, spokane institution. i will be back and next time the time gap won’t be so long.

would give a negitive 10......went for a birthday dinner and will never go back!!! froze our butts off waiting for service.when we were ready to order the server said she was too busy !! what??? one and a half hours to get our meals, server dropped food on my husband, did not check or ask if we needed anything for 45 minutes, maybe because no one saw her.saturday night might be too overwelming for them to handle a table of 12. food was cold and unappealing. the only thing that was good was all the games we played on our phones while we waited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nice place for dessert.. the lounge area is a very cozy spot for desert and coffee or a drink. nice, generous portions. good service, even though they were busy on restaurant week.

europa restaurant & bakery is a lovely old fashioned dinning environment. with friendly hosts and charming candle lit evening you might find it too quant for words. while the pizza may not be their strongest characteristic, europa staff put forth their full effort to highlight the signature dishes presented on their menu. i would recommend taking your grandmother out for dinner her any day! while the outer entrance may be misleading with an artistic and rustic brick way, you'll be happy to find it actually leads into a beautiful 1900s sitting room area set to dine for the evening!
