prix fixe lunch is a must. although the service requires a higher degree of customer management than it should, the quality of the food continues to delight.

the prix fixe lunch is an excellent and economical way to see what greek food can be. i agree with westie's observation: best lunch on the strip

outstanding greek seafood.. cuttle fish with a risotto incorporating its own ink as an accompaniment was excellent. the lobster and lavrak where top notch. not for the feint of wallet but i was pleasantly surprised when the sommelier recommended a relatively reasonably priced bottle.

the loud and boisterous room is probably not the best choice if you are looking for quiet and romantic.

note: on me second visit i had what were probably the best lamb chops that i ever tasted.

for my last meal in the cosmopolitan, i had lunch at estiatorio milos . this was the one restaurant in the hotel run by a chef whose cooking i had never tasted before since both jaleo's jose andreas and comme ca's david myers have restaurants in los angeles. they offer a three course lunch for $20.11 and although several items can be substituted for an additional fee, the menu is quite extensive. although my experience with the service in both jaleo and comme ca were exemplary, i could sense the staff here was not exactly a well oiled machine as soon as i walked in and saw no less than 10 people waiting to be taken to their seats, all of whom had made reservations (as i had also). with a hostess staff of three, it should not have taken more than a few minutes to seat everyone. when i was shown to my seat 15 minutes after my reservation time by one of the hostesses, i was thrilled with my seat by the window overlooking the strip. unfortunately as soon as i sat down my pants were soaked.

it cost several pretty pennies, but it was a neat experience fit for a special occasion.

excellent. if you like fresh fish, you will not do better. i believe this is an excellent restaurant with excellent service, food, and choices. well done. my one little qualm was that the waiter who had been exceptional all evening never returned to the table after i sent in my credit card with the check. i didn't think that was very classy considering the high cost of the meal. but other than that, excellent.

went to milos last saturday for drinks and appetizers at the bar. it's a beautiful restaurant, and a serene haven from the hustle and bustle of the cosmo. my girlfriend and i shared a plate of the raw fish sampler and a plate of the roasted potatoes. both were outstanding, particularly the fish. there were 5 different varieties, each composed with different ingredients to complement the fish. even had raw scallops, which neither of us have ever tried before. delicious. had a few cocktails from the new drink menu that will soon be in effect. they were refreshing and innovative, and a nicely chosen for seasonality. will definitely go back.

awful experience. a group of 11 of us had our saturday night ruined at estiatorio milos. half of us were greek and were very excited to try vegas's new greek offering. i had eaten at the new york location years ago and remember excellent food and service. we arrived promptly for our 8:30 reservation and were told that our table was in the process of being set up. fifteen minutes later, we had not yet been called and were ignored when we approached the hostess stand. at 9:00 we were again told that our table was being set up. we should have left at this point. numerous other patrons were also complaining about being seated late for their reservations. finally, at 9:30, we were shown to our table, without the slightest apology. someone promptly brought bread to the table, but we didn't even get water or menus until we asked for them over 5 minutes later. this was the trend for the whole dinner. the service was a total disaster. our order was messed up, the food took an eternity and our glasses were often empty. our whole fish and sides were very good, but certainly not worth the hefty price tag. french fries were $15 an order (we needed 3 orders for our table), a greek tomato salad was $27 and tiny!!! the tuna was a good cut and fresh, but very bland. dinner and drinks ended up being about $100 per person. three and a half hours later, we were finished and left with a bad taste in our mouths. no one seemed to be at all concerned about our bad experience in the restaurant.

those 5 stars reviews have be a hoax. i waited a bit to dine here because the early reviews were not very good. seeing the recent reviews had changed my mind, so i decided to give it a go.
the place is nice aesthetically, aside from the very low ceiling. the bar is pretty small;not much to look at there. food wise: i had snapper, mushrooms, milos special, and a tomato salad. the fish was bland and very boney. i had a hard time eating it. the tomato salad was ok, not too much to it. i'd say it was over-priced for what it is.
the worst of all was the service.my server seemed stressed and very uncomfortable. the food took forever to get to the table. but, when i mentioned it, his reaction was that of someone that did not seem to care much. i don't like to complain much, but an hour in between courses is unacceptable. the least they could have done was apologize;but, all i received at the end was a huge bill. i won't go back

a feast!. really that's what our dinner at milos was. i was there with my wife to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. we had been to greece for our honeymoon and this place sure brought back wonderful memories. actually, our meal was the best greek meal we've ever had, our trip to greece included! the fish display was so amazing we didn't know what to choose. we ended up having the sea bass baked in sea salt crust, it was mouth watering! the appetizers were exceptional as well, crab cake, calamari and a delicious greek salad. i love that the preparation is so simple you actually taste the ingredients. we had a bottle of wine from domaine gerovassiliou (malagouzia). it was exceptional. congratulations and best of luck!

most memorable dining experience. had a wonderful glass of greek wine upon arriving. it was very well balanced with excellent acidity went amazing with the food. we then had the milos special which was outstanding, a salad, which was so fresh, some crab cakes (to die for) and for main course we had the lavraki which was baked in a sea salt crust. unbelievable.

salty and pretentious. the staff was a disaster, especially my waiter. i'll leave him nameless for the time being. the food: lavraki and milos special. both vastly over-priced and incredibly salty. i may go back in a few months;but for now, this place is just horrendously over-rated. nothing like the new york location. with the staff and management i saw, i cant see it ever becoming remotely close to nyc. so sad, i had very high expectations
