epicure - melia desert palm hotel

best pasta and ambiance ever!

this restaurant has a great view of lush green, blue sky and long infinity swimming pool, just so lovely.

there are all regular options on the menu but the special of the day actually made my lunch special.  i had a spaghetti with octopus which i heard what other guest mentioned when he was leaving and oh, that was best pasta ever so far in dubai. the octopus was soft but hard enough to enjoy the feeling of chewy you expect from octopus, i am still wondering how they boiled it as whenever i do, i make it very tough... and the sauce was basic tomato base but gives you very deep flavour on your tongue. i almost licked the plate, that much it was amazing. 

friendly staffs, good music and as i said the view outside, that is really great thing that you will appreciate as that's quite rare in dubai, isn't it? try out, not sure which day they serve this pasta but you can ring and check it out!

love the surroundings of this hotel and the peaceful atmosphere.  doesn't feel like you are in dubai although its only 15 minutes from downtown dubai!  epicure is a fantastic restaurant to feel like you've escaped the hustle and bustle of the city.  had a lovely lunch sitting by the pool and looking out at lush green of the polo field.  pizza and salad - just what i needed for a quick bite.  pizza was perfect with a crunchy base from the wood fired oven and the salad hit the spot with lovely dressing of olive oil and just a dash of lemon.  will come back here soon!

amazing ambience

we've been to this place several times and we absolutely love it! they offer fresh and delicious food - international options that are well varied. tried several items from their menu and we were never disappointed. the venue is quite idyllic and refreshing against dubai's usual hustle and bustle atmosphere! desserts and beverages are also wonderful, my favorite being the green power blended juice! soo tasty!!

what else could be more beautiful than a lunch on a warm weather beside the pool while being surrounded by greenery and vast of polo field before an anticipated hour massage?

none, i think. *at that moment....

the only thing that didnt impress me though was the waiting time maybe because the lunch was served few minutes closer before our massage appointment. we had to ask epicure to keep in the kitchen and warm it when we come back.

nonetheless, when we had our meal, it brought extra smiles to our faces. plus meeting the most accommodating team who looked after us and a huge discount!!!😚

great experience plus their voss water offered to us while waiting for our cab service. indeed, a wonderful experience to share. thanks epicure!

service is extremely slow and not attentive to customers. we only ordered drinks at the place but took more then half an hour to come. i can literally see them making the drink only after i’ve chased them.

very dull place they should some light music to make it better, over priced.
place might be better in winter otherwise to hot for outside sitting and inside they don't offer shisha.

one of the best hotel in dubai and use to be one of my favorite hangout. beautiful and relaxing ambience, but due to the non- welcoming staff especially in the restaurants and bars, i have stopped going there. i hope my review enlightens the management and they can take appropriate steps to keep the value and charm of the hotel.

the food was really tasty and the staff specially aogastino was so nice and helpful . amazing spot for sunset.

quite a different style of cooking .
skinny fries - in absolute love with them .
margherita with chicken pizza : they had raw tomatoes on it ... like ?? really disappointing.
veg lasagna - again raw tomatoes .
italian not recommended.
baby chicken - well made however the portion size is small .

the biryani was spicy and with masala and the chicken chili was amazing spicy but the position of white rice was less

first time i was invited there by my company ceo to have coffee for informal job interview. after reaching i almost forgot that i am here for interview. i felt so relaxed there  it’s absolutely amazing here; highly recommended for those who are looking for beautiful places. it’s so green and to be honest doesn’t feel like dubai. although haven’t tried the foods in here and had a cup of americano. yet, i highly recommend it. ** try to go before sunset so you can enjoy the view**. i suppose this is the only place with the fabulous view of polo ground and horse around.

a total hidden gem! not a lot of people know about this place but they have good food , peaceful atmosphere and a number of restaurants, the sheesha is decent , all around a must visit!
