too noisy. excellent service,greatfood, but we had a table of 6 and we could not hear what each other was saying, such a noisy place, with nothing to absorb the noise. the last 2 times it was the same, have spoken to others who all felt the same, sorry but i wouldn't go again, if it was up to me to make the booking.

what a joke!!!. i had the misfortune to go to embers with some family i did think that it would be good as the other reveiws said so.i order the veal scallopini rubbish i got a tough piece of rump steak covered with an a dark brown gravy with mushrooms in it i called the waitress over and complained i was told by the elderly waitress that i must understand that sometimes they can only get older beef.1. its is supposed to be veal.2. in a light sauce with porcini mushrooms.3. made with marsala wine or if they cant do that some cognac.i feel so sorry for people in perth they work hard and are willing to spend good money and they get this utter rubbish.
my farther in law ordered the special snapper which in all fairness he said was ok but must of been 150grams for 27 dollars he was ripped off like me i think people dont know whatgreatitalian food should taste like and so they get away with it if a good italian place opened in the hills they would be out of bussines in a month.it makes me so angry as i was a chef in the uk and i would have had my arse kicked for putting out that rubbish.

great for family meals. have been here with my husband and kids for dinners, and i've always found the service and food to be really good. i also like the atmosphere. they also give the kids colouring pads and crayons, which is a plus. the takeaway isgreattoo - love their pizzas and pastas, and i also like the fact that they deliver!

walked in earlier this evening (sunday) and had agreatexperience. we sat outside with the fire going and it was lovely and warm. food was delicious but massive servings. we had a reallygreatwaitress as well, who was sweet and attentive but not intrusive. will definitely be back!

wow! we visited embers upon recommendation of a friend who had last been many years ago. the dinner was for a birthday celebration of 3 of the 4 guests. we we all amazed how popular the restaurant is. the service was excellent and the mature waiter was magnificent. but when the food arrived, steak with blue cheese sauce, omg! if it wasn't for the large portion you receive, we would have ordered that meal again and skipped dessert.

we came here for dinner as part of a large group on a saturday night and omg i think i had the best salad of my life. i think the honey soy sesame chicken salad pictured was even better than it looks! all our meals came out together (a feat with such a large group) and we were never left without a drink.greatservice and food all-round.

pictures in front of us splattered with food and looked like they hadn't been wiped since the day the were put up. looking really dirty all round and left us wondering how bad the kitchen looks if it's like this in the restaurant .

hello all..... after reading all the master chef fine dining cooks rate this place it's clear to me that your knowledge of good food is lacking.... and the way half of you talk it's clear that your also a little retarded.....
i have eaten all over the place and i am personal friends with restaurant owners so i'm pretty well rounded when it comes to allot of things food related.... and i know what i don't like and honestly i love this place!!!!
food is consistently clean, full flavoured and heaps on the plate.... i have eaten everything on the menu and can't fault anything.... the only complaint i have about this little gem is that sometimes we can't get a table...
drinks have beengreatand made with attention to detail.....
so all in all yeah it's not fine dining but you get more than what you pay for every time.... and i wouldnt eat there often if it was anything less thangreatfood,greatprice andgreatatmosphere.....
so if all you wanna be food critics don't like the place then great!!!! i hate it when i can't get a table

lunch for 5 of us was fantastic. served in timely manner, nice and hot and deliciously tastefull. staff were very helpfull and attentive and responded to our requests promptlt. thoroughly recommended. we went at 1.30 pmgreattime as not overly busy.

snuck in for a cheeky lunch. welcoming environment. staff were reallygreatand made us feel really comfortable.greatmenu. we will be back.

my favourite local. food is always delicious. portions are very very big, keeps the man happy. tim tim cheesecake what more can you ask for to top off a delicious meal.greatservice, very friendly staff whether busy or quiet. sometimes sit in the covered outdoor area with the dog. coffee is awesome.

edit: went again, the paella was very dry and very strong flavours, ate a third of it as was hungry. gave feedback but got no sympathy, nothing taken off the bill, no free coffee, a chocolate, nothing. service was very slow too. very disappointing. had to change the rating down from 5 *’s.

fantastic meal, generous serves,greatflavours, reasonable prices. watermelon and lemon sorbet to finish was heaven. i'm heading back again despite being a long drive.

can't go past embers for a group dinner! enough options to keep everyone happy. the food is yum andgreatvalue. staff are attentive, but not over baring. one of our go-to places for dinner.
