had the pleasure of dining here with my companion last night. was pretty packed when we walked in. we were seated outside which was fine as it's been hot a lot lately. for entree, we had the beef empanadas and the chorizo paired with aji casero salsa & salsa criolla. the empanadas were meaty, had a bit of spice to it and full of flavors. the chorizo had an amazing smokey flavor and just the right amount of spice you expect in a chorizo. it was just enough amount to settle your stomach til the mains.
for mains, we ordered the pechuga asada which is the charcoal boneless chicken accompanied with a garden salad and arepa - corn bread cooked on the grill. the chicken was cooked beautifully. the taste of charcoal came thru with the spices they marinated the meat in. the corn bread i found was very dense, in a good way. i loved it! my partner on the hand ordered a t-bone steak cooked well done. he was raving on about how fantastically juicy his steak is and his only regret is that he should've ordered the tomahawk lol. so that must be a sign that we will be coming back. the lady who greeted us wasfriendlyand attentive but that also extends out to the waiters and waitresses. overall, we both had an amazing night and will definitely come back for more!
