went here for my birthday late on a wednesday night because they were open until 1 am. the service was poor, the food was ok, the atmosphere was great! i would come here again simply for the quiet, secluded ambiance. my date and i certainly enjoyed ourselves.

viva méxico. when we visited this restaurant, it was packed to the brim. very mexican feel in every aspect down to the band. service was friendly and courteous. the food itself was very tasty with generous portions. we drank tequila, margaritas and coronas which added to the experience. diners that visit here will not be disappointed.

this place is wonderful! the service is amazing and fast while the employees are aware and respectful of conversation at the table. the portions are huge and their margaritas are tasty yet nice and strong. two people can eat here with tons of extra food for the price of what would normally be one persons dinner at another place. their food is amazing and the atmosphere is wonderful! all thumbs up!

great meal, great service. we had a super meal today at el compadre on sunset. flaming margaritas, yes please. guacamole for the table, yes please. loved the tortilla soup, tamale, tacos and enchiladas were all very good. my husband had the steak in red sauce, good but he said he wouldn't order it again. he liked the look of our combo platters. we will be back next week!

my fave. i love this place!! every time i go, it is delicious and fun. flaming margaritas are a must, and the carne asada is great.

eh...you can find better. 4 of us went on a tuesday night. the guac was nothing special, and all of our dinners were just ok. we didn't have margs, so maybe they are good, but the food was just mediocre. i wouldn't go back.
