eddie's napolis

thank god.... since moving to texas a short while ago, we have been fearful about the bad reputation that texas pizza and italian food have. we know real east coast true italian food... we found a few of the surprisingly well reviewed italian places in garland clearly using frozen/mass-produced products. we've been trying to find a pizza place that captures the essence of what we expect from pizza. snobby? maybe, but we know what we like...so far this place has the best pizza we have found in garland. great sauce,goodcrust, cheesy (maybe a bit of parm or other cheese mixed in would make it excellent)... but... forget the other pizza joints and check this one out.

if the name is eddies napolis you know it's going to be consistentlygoodfood! i have been here many times and have never been disappointed. ( i can't say that about some of the other napioli locations.) look for eddies in front of napolis and you'll be in for somegooditalian food. the calzones & strombolis are really good!

excellent food, great service, and they deliver!. i found this gem right around the corner from my new house, and in the last week and half i've had their food three times. that's right, i'm trying to give myself a heart attack. so far i've sampled the meatball sub (yowza!), vicky's special (chicken, cheese, and spinach over penne pasta - yummmm!), the chicken sorrentino (holy crap!), meat ravioli (superb, and about 9000 degrees when it got to the table), and the "spectacular" pizza (well, spectacular... and delivered). so they've got all that going for them, but i haven't even mentioned the bread and marinara sauce that they bring to the table when you sit down. i wish they wouldn't do that, because it's so damngoodthat you're just forced to eat it. did i mention that this place is cheap too? i'm all in...
