we thought we ordered a lot of food for my family of 6 but then again... no we were able to finish it all! for starters we ordered watermelon rocket salad and shrimp spring rolls. then we got roast chicken, 2 pastas - carbonara, squid and aligue pasta, beef soft tacos, and beef kebabs (wasnt able to capture in pic). food alone was not just picture perfect but perfect in taste especially the tacos, kebaband salad. would've given a 5 but the squid pasta was a bit too salty. all the ingredients are fresh which you could see and taste. even the kids loved it (and ate most of it!). tablea ice cream for dessert is highly recommended ?

in my own humble opinion, earth kitchen is the best among the restaurants who advertise themselves to be healthy and organic.

during our last visit here, we ordered their pomelo salad, pumpkin and kesong puti soft tacos, and beef kebab. everything was heavenly! perfectly prepared and cooked! we loved how refreshing the salad was, how light and filling the soft tacos were, and how soft and tender the beef of thekebabwas.

yes, maybe they are a bit on the expensive side, as all organic restaurants usually are, but this one is surely worth it!

i like how their is ample parking space provided and how once you enter, you'll feel like you are inside a garden with a bit of asian touch.

surely a favorite of ours now! 👍👍

love this farm to table restaurant.
you’ll taste freshness as you bite on their foods.

love how the natural flavours of the veggies, fish and meat is highlighted in those simple dishes. no complexity. just pure good food.

fish and roasted sesame seeds soft tacos- perfect and simple

beefkebabwith greens- perfectly balance spices, best seller. some parts of the meats were still a little tough, but forgivable.

tablea chocolate cake- average chocolate cake nothing special

will definitely recommend this place.

and will definitely keep coming back.

tried this place today because i'm looking for a new place to eat, then i checked the reviews here in zomato and i was impressed so i tried. but sad to say i didn't like the food.

we ordered the catfish salad - which for me is too sour. it didn't meet my expectation because i used to eat this kind of salad in thai restos.

then the tuna poke - it's surprisingly fresh. but still may have more flavor.

beefkebab- was so so. i think thekebabwas precooked but it's tasty tho. it's the sauce i liked most.

the tablea ice cream was my favorite!
mood breaker after everything we eat!

service was fast and accommodating. ambiance is great as well, so romantic and cozy it's recommended for dates 😉

this has to be one of our new fave restaurants. they also have an art gallery and a corner for local goods like soaps, organic food, woven things, pottery and even plants. the food was great, you are going back for more. the service staff were all accomodating. we enjoyed our date. 💗
feast meter:
🌟🌟🌟 sugarcane juice - taste is just enough, i loved the concept of metal straw
🌟🌟🌟🌟 crispy catfish salad - the taste was okay but i suggest they add more greens
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 beefkebab- this is highly recommended. the serving size was enough for two.
although they were quite expensive, the experience was great. good job for a more spacious parking area.

i was going to cover an event for the people of marawi at earth kitchen, but i felt that i needed to try out the good stuff on their menu before it started.

while waiting for the food that i ordered, i made a quick tour of the room to check out the other products that they have to offer. true to their name, they focused on featuring artisinal and organic goods that were crafted in various parts of the country. these included handcrafted soaps, fruit purees and flavored chocolate bars.

also visible on their walls are colorful artwork that would easily catch your attention. i was then informed that these are creations of marginalized children, who try to earn via this craft. the proceeds of the sales are being handled by the crib foundation via their new beginnings program.

as soon as i finished, dishes was quick and already waiting for me at the table. ragu ala bolognese came first and their take on the famous pasta dish was just as good as how it looked. the ground beef blended well with light tomato sauce and herbs, on al dente pasta. served alongside this was wet mushroom soft tacos. its unique twist of hoisin sauce made the pickled mushrooms’ taste stand out.

freshly made shrimp spring rolls followed. the wonderful presentation, along with the generous serving of shrimps on every roll, makes it a nice choice for vegetable lovers. its sauce, however, could use some work as it was too sour.

for our main dish, me and a friend shared their rendition of beefkebabwith organic ifugao rice pilaf. it’s hard not to fall in love with it as the tender meat is also rich in flavor. at php 420 it’s a bit steep though. an extra stick please?

after all that we had, we still turned to even more food, this time some cake with warm beverage. since one flavor could never be enough, i tried both of their homemade cakes, along with a cup of malunggay latte. both cakes were notable given the distinct taste of ube and tablea, respectively. the malunggay latte was fine, better though with low fat milk instead of full cream.

overall, i could say that earth kitchen is one of the better places to dine in the katipunan area. if you’re into organic and artisinal products, and looking for a variety of cuisines in one roof, this could be the place for you.

earth kitchen is a good find! they are an advocate of healthy eating so they serve organic dishes that are still delicious. a must try would be their watermelon and rocket salad, chickenkebaband braised bacon.

the interiors are mostly wood with plants here and there to have that earthy kind of atmosphere.

i'm really glad my friend took me here for lunch cause i've always been wanting to try this resto out.

we ordered the following:
shrimp spring rolls (310php)
ragu ala bolognese (295php)
beefkebab(425php)

both ragu andkebabwere packed with flavor. both were good for sharing.

then for desserts:
peanut butter ice cream (200php)
goat cheese ice cream

a bit pricey but the amount you pay for, healthy and organic dishes, was worth it.
the ambiance was cozy with a touch of nature. staff were friendly and accommodating. 👍🏼

we were so happy with the bloomin’ bread that we were still talking about it while on our way to earth kitchen which happens to be… right across the bakery. gluttons? we prefer to be called food enthusiasts. ;)

n got word that earth kitchen opens at 6 p.m. and luckily we checked the place out before exploring other areas as it was open! i wonder who blogged that the place is closed till 6 p.m.?

anyway, we were greeted by a charming façade and a unique door which swivels than swings. the interiors make you feel like you are inside a greenhouse (but air conditioned). i instantly fell in love with the look of the restaurant.

after checking the menu and checking blog posts about the place, we decided to go for the watermelon and rocket salad (php270) and beefkebab(php360). yes, we try to limit our orders to two per stop this time so that we get to cover more stops.

the watermelon and rocket salad was such a beauty. it was a colorful and photogenic dish. the taste did not fail us too as it was, as my former colleague describes yummy food, a “party in the mouth”. the different textures and flavors went well with each other. i just hoped that the red watermelon was fresher. there was a great balance of sweetness, saltiness and tanginess thanks to the organic arugula, homemade kesong puti, balsamic vinaigrette, pili nuts, and watermelon.

the beefkebabwas something else too. i love that it was very tender and had a hint of curry taste. it had a strong taste so opting for the organic ifugao rice was a good call. i also enjoyed the grilled vegetables. zucchini~

we wanted to try something new and saw earth kitchen in zomato with 4.5 stars. we decided to give them a try to see why people gave them good reviews.

risotto balls was unavailable, so we ordered watermelon and rocket salad instead. it was something different, the combination of different flavors fit well with each other.

our main courses were the squid ink pasta, fish and roasted sesame soft tacos and beef kebab.

the beefkebabwas their recommendation and it was great. the beef was tender and had the right amount of flavor. the pasta was something unique and different.

i am not a fan of fish or soft tacos, but after hearing how good it was, i gave it a try. their soft tacos is so good!

i would definitely come back to try their other dishes, and order more beefkebab😋

i was highly impressed with the restaurant, entering through the stunning swivel door, not expecting a beautiful, wooden-themed dining venue. plants abound indoors, and lighting was minimal but sufficient. the resto has a function area on the ground and second floors and there was a christening event when we came. the small inside garden had stairs leading up to a hut, and could be improved with the addition of interesting flora. there's no struggle to feel at ease in their space.

my opinion about the food and service is the opposite. the pomelo salad was underwhelming - it lacked saltiness and a contrast of flavors. it is far from a well-balanced salad, and more like a filler in your meal. the beefkebabtasted okay, not the best i've had, however, theirs was the most tender beef cubes on akebabthat i've ever tried. the rice pilaf was tasty. the dip and tzatziki portions were too small, but i liked the taste of the latter.

we realized that the menu they gave us did not have updated prices when our bill arrived. the server only apologized for the confusion. i was a bit shot down by the idea that the place offers a warm ambience that is not complemented by the apathetic bearing of the servers who looked like they were only there to fulfill their duties. the food is overpriced, in my opinion, despite the fact that the ingredients are mostly organic.

welcome to earth kitchen where you'll be welcomed by warmly lit interiors, colorful artworks on the walls, and fresh produce on shelves from got heart :)

grilled vegetable salad (p270) - zucchini, bell pepper, eggplant, carrots, pickled mushrooms, herbs and greens, kesong puti, balsamic vinaigrette. i'm not a fan of veggies. when i'm at home, i tend to avoid it at all costs, but when i'm out, i like to try as many dishes as i can - including salads. with this one, i didn't need any convincing. just looking at this dish made me want to eat lots of it. i don't know. i guess that's how aesthetics work. their grilled vegetable salad is packed with numerous vegetables that you'll find yourself tasting something new in every bite. i'm proud to say i tried them all! haha! :p the sourness from the balsamic vinaigrette is a good choice for this one.

mushroom spring rolls (p280) - organic/naturally produced shiitake mushrooms, peanuts, herbs and greens, lime hoisin sauce. another vegetarian dish, but i didn't mind. unlike in some vegetarian restaurants where the dishes turn out bland/lack flavor, theirs don't. you won't feel that they're skimping out on anything. the ingredients used were fresh and the servings are worth the price you're paying, at least that's what i think. (i may be slightly biased because anything with mushrooms wins extra points in my book) though to be honest, i was already full before we even got to the main dishes. haha

beefkebab(p360) - boneless beef ribs, tzatziki, grilled vegetables, choice of organic ifugao rice pilaf or 3pcs flour tortilla and organic mixed greens. my knowledge onkebabis very limited. for me, once you've tried one, you've tried them all. i saw the sauce as the determining factor since i tend to drown the meats in sauce, so flavor of the meat doesn't really matter in the end. but with earth kitchen's version, you really get to taste the beef because the sauce isn't as abundant as in other places like mister kebab. not that it even makes sense to compare the two. eating thiskebabis an experience in itself because there is a process to it - (1) put meat on top of a flour tortilla, (2) add veggies, (3) pour some sauce, and (4) wrap everything before (5) biting into it. with mister kebab, you just drown everything in sauce then eat it. haha. the beef is flavorful and tender, a not-so-heavy dish if you're not feeling too hungry. make sure to put a little bit of everything to appreciate it fully.

mushroom ravioli (p370) - kesong puti, shiitake, button, and milky mushrooms, pili nuts, light cream sauce. mushrooms! what else can i say? i loved this! i know it doesn't look all that appetizing being that it's cream based and there's no contrasting color, but it's a dish that's worth trying. sure, it's a bit on the pricey side since they serve only a few pieces, but a few is enough to leave you wanting more. i'll definitely come back for this.

beef bulgogi soft tacos (p265) - boneless beef ribs, kimchi rice, salad greens, seaweed. a flavorful dish that's good to share.

goat’s cheese – frozen cheese cake (p250) - goat’s cheese ice cream, wild honey, dried figs, cashew nuts. it's ice cream that tastes like yogurt; it's just slightly sour though. i don't explore a lot when it comes to ice cream; i mostly like rocky road, salted caramel, vanilla, and strawberry, so i'm glad we got the chance to try this. i liked the cashew nuts and wild honey additions, but not so much the dried figs.

will i eat here again? yes, i would! :)

had the beef kebab, shrimp arugula pasta, and risotto uni negra

overall, food was great. everything felt delicate but flavorful--but never one flavor too overwhelming. the spicy rice pilaf that came with the beefkebabwas was amazing. although the serving was (i think) only half a cup. i wanted more. the shrimp and arugula pasta was okay. the risotto uni negra had a sweet sauce on top of it which went well with the mushy squid ink risotto. imagine a reduced shrimp-flavored champorado.

place is great. felt very home-y, warm, and cozy. servers were also attentive and courteous. they gave us a heads up that the risotto might take some time but it didn't take so long.

in a nutshell, it was a swell dining experience. price was right for the food. if there's anything to improve, i think bigger servings would be nice

okay! i have been eyeing to try earth kitchen for a long time now, and i was so happy when kp decided to eat here :)

earth kitchen is located at lot 10 b-10 katipunan avenue, white plains, quezon city

they also have a branch in bonifacio high street central, 7th avenue, bonifacio global city, taguig city

the interiors are so cute! from the wooden chairs, paintings on the wall by local artists, plants hanging around and surrounding the restaurant. the place will instantly make you feel healthier and fresh.

paintings by local artists from got heart foundation
as we go through their menu, i noticed that earth kitchen isn't just about advocating organic and healthy food, it is more about helping the got heart foundation which supports farmers from different provinces to promote locally produced goods.

locally produced goods from got heart foundation
so, for our appetizer we had the fish and mango (190). i liked this dish especially with what they've done to the mango it gave the plate a deeper flavor dimension. the batter of the fish was also good, it was light and it coated the fish just enough to give it a crunch.

next up is their beef bulgogi soft tacos (265). i wasn't a big fan of this one maybe because of the mix of the beef which tastes like their kebabs and the kimchi rice. i think both flavors are strong that they are overwhelming to eat.

for our main course, we had the chickenkebab(335). like what i said earlier, the tacos and their kebabs tastes similar the only difference was the tzatziki, grilled vegetables and you can also choose between organic ifugao rice pilaf, 3pcs tortilla or mixed greens. the rice pilaf was good but nothing to be excited about.

we also tried their pasta 4 mushrooms and egg (350). this is their version of carbonara which tastes like..... carbonara. meh. i think the flavor was too creamy but dry, although i liked the texture of the pasta which was homemade but it was kinda overcooked though. meh.

after all that food of course we should have our drinks! kp and i had the organic calamansi juice (90).

last but not the least! dessert time! we had the goat's cheese- frozen cheese cake (250). i liked the flavor of the ice cream and it is also new for me so that's a big plus. i liked the consistency and the creaminess of the ice cream with a little hint of the flavor of the cheese. the wild honey was also good because it adds sweetness and cuts the richness of the ice cream.

the food and service was okay, i liked the concept of the restaurant. i had a great time dining here and to think that i was able to help local farmers even in a simple way. the dessert was the best part of my meal here, and the calamansi juice. hihi!
