we sat outside on the patio, which was quite nice if one was in the shade. service was good. i had the blackened swordfish tacos and garlic fries. both were quite good.

skip the food.. if you really have to go to earls, have a drink, and skip the food! poor service, and even poorer food.

disappointing....if your going to charge $15.00 for a burger it should wow you. burger came out thin and missing anything the resembled flavor. after three bites i couldn't take it anymore. when the waitress asked if i wanted a box i said...no thanks...it wasn't even good. her response was "right on" and took the food away.....i would recommend you go else where...

the food is great. i love the cajun chicken. hot potato salad and cole slaw! the price is a shock though. steak house prices! this is not salt lick in banff.

jerra chicken curry is the shining star. i like earls. although the service isnt great (what can you expect when management perfers beauty over brains). but i absolutely love the jerra chicken curry and viva diva martini. i go to earls once every couple of months and i always order the same thing, i love it that much!! the spinach dip appetizer is great too.

little black dresses. i just got the sense that earls just got a bit too far out in front of its self. now it tries to be more than it is but can't pull it off.
i always feel sorry for the servers in their little black dresses, always a bit more revealing than the girls feel comfortable with.
the food is pretty consistently good, but the atmosphere makes me feel exploitive.

wow,  have the burgers gone down the tube
patties are now 1/2 the size  
and what patty was there was nothing special, kind of dry 
you need 2/3 burger and 1/3 bun and topping …. always fried onion that's a given

great restaurant and establishment with great customer service, as well as excellent food! if it's still on the menu i would recommend the bronx burger it is superb!

at the end i saw one of the chefs cleaning his face with his hands and he had bracelets hanging down from his wrists. i didn't see him wash his hands but we will give him the benefit of the doubt. it's a small fix. overall very good.

i've been here before with groups of friends in the past. the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, i also enjoy that they use fresh ingredients in their food and it really shows. i had the chicken fettuccine alfredo last time and i think it was around $22.00. the portion was a bit small.
but the service was great. i would return to this location in the future and try something different.

march 24, 2018:

we came here for breakfast on saturday morning. we got there before 12, so we were able to get the $8 brunch deal. i ordered the chorizo mushroom hash and my boyfriend ordered the farmers breakfast. the only complaint i had about this visit was that i ordered my poached eggs medium, and they came out very hard. the yolks were over cooked. otherwise, great atmosphere and service.

good. servers are fantastic and food is good. its the service that makes me come here, drinks are on point as well. nice afforable deals every now and then on the mains are awesome.

came here saturday evening with a friend for a mom date. i've only previously visited the east location and love that one. this one impressed me as well! i like the inside of this one more, brighter and not as loud (i'm not old i swear)! food was excellent as usual, we got three appetizers to share, the spinach and artichoke dip would have been my least favourite, just because it was like every other restaurants spinach and artichoke dip with a heavier price tag. the calamari was done perfectly, as was the chicken and wontons which i highly recommend the parmesan dipping sauce for. we got a few drinks which were good as well. our waitress didn't seem to want to be there to be honest, and that's why this one gets a 4. the drinks were also overly priced, in my opinion. would return gladly though!

i've been going to south earl's for 24 years now. it just keeps going down hill while the garlic level in the food just keeps going up! also, please play some music that everybody can enjoy and not dubstep or music for 12 year old girls. i also went there the other night and they had some dj playing a bunch of house music. great, except more than half the bar was guys in their 40s and 50s who probably don't want to listen to that crap right? earl's used to be a great place with supurb food - what happened?

i came in with family on remembrance day and we were seated at one of the last remaining tables. the service and food was good and for no apparent reason, the manager came over to apologize for the wait by clearing our food and beverage tab. we were all pretty surprised because the food didn't seem to take that long (plus it was a full house... what do you expect?!).

this just anchors why i enjoy earls- even when things don't seem that bad, the staff and management go out of their way to keep me coming back.

we came on a saturday evening and were seated on the patio. had to wait almost 10 minutes for our server to say hello and offer us a beverage. the food is the standard earls fare. we ordered some appetizers and a salad to share. food was as expected and service was decent after the inital long wait. just as expected for an earls experience. i would come back again if in the area.
