an amazing experience at signature restaurant for a truly royal culinary spread. the single diner menu was well curated to provide a unique experience of lucknowi cuisine, with excellent service by the team.

very slow service.. food quality not upto mark & not worh the prices..too much garam masalas in sabjis.. we ordered nan & they served us frozen parathas.. roomali rotis all burnt.. kababs were too much dry..no dal makhni.. so pls i would not recommend this place..

one goes to a luxury dining place is for an experience and this was disappointing at dum phukt. we went there for my dad's bday. we wanted to order the newab experience set menu for which one service staff said yes and then afterwards the 2nd staff came to us and forced us to not go for the set menu as the food quantity would be too much and forced us to go for the a al carte dishes suggested by him. we tried to keep our stand that we want to go for set menu but he kept forcing us to take a al carte menu where he recommended 1starter and 1biryani is sufficient for us as the quantity is good. finally we agreed to go for the startes dish he suggested. he came with small 3pc of veg kebab which was really disappointing. later while ordering main food, the staff quickly rushed and told us that he has already ordered biryani for us. we didn't want to eat biryani as we never ordered it but he said as we agreed for his starters suggestion he assumed that we also wanted biryani and it is ready for us to eat. we were very disappointed and i didn't want to create any issue as it was my dad's bday. but i was really unhappy with the service. the staff name is niladri. i saw them doing the same thing with other table.
i think the have pre cooked 2-3 dishes that they force the customers to eat rather than letting customers eat variety.
really unexpected service from itc

this was an outing with our office colleagues for dinner. table reservation is recommended as it is an outstanding restaurant and mostly full.
there were 20 of us and we had fixed a set menu @3500 per person with drinks. they have a good collection of wines.
the guests comprised of mostly foreigners and they loved the food. from starters to main course to desserts, everything was perfect with favourite being biryani and kebabs.
great service and knowledgeable staff.

probably the best dum biryani available in mumbai. if you are a lover of spicy hydrerabadi style biryani, you will be disappointed. personally i like the mildly spiced, aromatic lucknowi style biryani. having tasted the best biryanis of lucknow, i can vouch for the authenticity of their taste. the rice with subtle, infused taste of the lamb, and spices trapped by the sealed handi makes rice the star as it should be. most resturants miss the point and focus on the spices.
another favourite is the kakori kebab. it is an amazing, tender, finely minced, almost pasty lamb kebab. it actually melts in your mouth. it is an acquired taste and not all may like it the first time they try it. once you get it, you will be a fan for life.
ambiance is ok but this iconic resturant needs a look that compliments its legendary status. its a bit too closed for my liking.

well we went here to celebrate by birthday and boy it was a wonderful experience the food was infact higher that the general standards of a fine dine the service was brilliant and so was the ambience.....the malai kofta was my favourite......a place worth spending money on....

disappointed....i had such great expectations and it was such a bad experience that since saturday the 26th may i have been waiting to rate my experience..had gone to celebrate my son's graduation and after a through search i choose dumpukht...was so excited to be here and the ambience along with the dinner table setup, i thought i made the right choice and i also started looking at becoming the itc culinare member for a year....but this barely lasted for the first 10 minutes...our server mr.anand was the 1st starting point of disappointment and i wish we should have just got up when he showed his attitude...but we let it go hoping for not spoiling our day out ...this followed with the set meal that we opted for...so this was the next disaster...the food quality, along with service by staff which we had to keep calling out too even though the restaurant was half full...was a follow on disasters...the only serving grace was one pleasant mr.prashant followed with the dish which was biryani which again was served without the yoghurt...even the pan that we were served gave us a painful goodbyes...i feel like writing this or posting this on every portal and smo...i am so troubled with itc dum pukht to have ruined our dinner and the important evening...nodoubt they were half full on a saturday night...

the ambience of this place is so royal. we had a prix fix menu and the dishes were delicious. one of the best tomato soup (shorba timater) i've ever had. the main course was also good. loved the biryani. so rich with a saffron fragrance.

best restaurant in fine dining category. menu curated by famous chef imtiaz qureshi tried the kakore kebab, mutton biryani and dal makhanai. for desserts ordered kulfi and shahi tukda. amazing food and has a royal vibe.

visited this place for only one dish --- the signature dum pukht biryani and i still remember savoring the dish till the last bit of rice. the aroma, the flavour, the taste - unparalleled.
ambiance superb, staff courteous. overall a very good experience.

the food is just too good so is the ambience. the spread is pretty sumptuous. the service is good. the best part is the time they they take from taking your order to it being served.
th biryani is a must have, so are the kebabs. the cutlery is worth a mention owing to the fact that it is silver ware which gives you a royal feel. all in all it is place you can't miss if you like mughalai cuisine.

a point to note is that a reservation well in advance is a must as the place is full irrespective of it being a weekday or a weekend.

i wish you could eat at the same pace of dum cooking..flavours to heal your heart mind and soul
