this place is very special. 40 floors up with sweeping views of london city and surrounds.
service is extremely professional and perfectly orchestrated , but friendly.
and as for the food, how could i not order the duck and waffle - simply incredible!

i should have guessed the sort of place this was when i approached the door, finding a rope in front of it and someone with a clipboard. after explaining that i had booked to two separate people within the first 5m of the door, i was duly patted down and went up in the lift. nice lift. nice view.

the view feom here is truly amazing. you get the opportunity to see majority of london. i have to say i was disappointed with the service. this place is 24 hours we waited 1 hour in the cold before we could go up and when we were upstairs there were plenty stables free. the food was okay, i suggest going only for the view.

the beetroot, duck doughnut and the cod were delicious.. the duck and waffle was excellent.
the t bone was fine, but everything else, including the burnt cabbage beneath it, stewed in butter and capers (yes, capers...with butter) proclaims a complete lack of culinary culture. my favourite small plates were the raw tuna and duck doughnut and, of the main courses, the steak was unbelievable and everyone loved the duck and waffle for its combination of flavours. we treated ourselves to dessert with a surprisingly alcoholic espresso martini. the chocolate fondant was lovely but the hot banoffee dessert was the real winner in the taste stakes.

loved the service, environment and food. the service from the security downstairs, to the bar entrance and reception, and the waiters was so good. environment was light and casual, with such a lovely view of the city. food was good, especially the cod. highly recommended and will go again if around.

awesome food and a more awesome view!

duck and waffle is a must visit in london, i would say it's the best place to enjoy british cuisine. i loved their toffee apple waffle though ox cheek benedict is good too. anyone would want to spend the evening sipping bloody mary while enjoying the city view and thus i recommend an evening visit to this place (with a reservation). this place definitely ends up in my good books👍

easily one of the best places i have been to in london. when my son told me that he wants to go here i was a bit sceptical after hearing the name. on top of that no booking were available though it’s a 24/7 place. but finally managed to get the 10.30 pm table. they are pretty strict about the timing and dressing so we have to be dressed also appropriately. but what an experience it was and some unforgettable food.
in the financial district of london this is situated on the 40th floor with a 360 degree view of the city. breathtaking view with a bar located right in the centre. we had the following :
rosemary bread- i have breads and bread n breads. i love bread so much. this one was totally overwhelming. freshly baked bread with an amazing flavour
ox cheek doughnut - this was a surprise. a huge ball of dough with amazing flavoured ox cheek in it. loved it totally
beef tartare- i didn’t have this since it was supposedly raw beef pieces topped with a raw egg yolk. was supposedly great
duck waffle- now this is their signature dish and yumm it was. waffle topped with a roast duck leg topped with a perfectly fried egg.
baked cod - show stealer of the evening. it was something i have never had. perfect baked cod fish sitting in a yumm sauce. the sauce was unbelievably flavourful. a must try here.

in all it was a fab dinner with breathtaking view and fantastic service. pretty expy place so do chk before venturing... worth all the money you spend though

the best thing about d&w is the view. this is where it ends. the service is sloppy and it’s more of a tourist hang out than a well managed restaurant.

highly recommend a visit for the view but don’t expect much from the food or cocktails! a real shame given the hype.

a popular spot in london and worth going to if you are looking for that special venue to enjoy a meal. we went for lunch and enjoyed ourselves but were not left feeling or was outstanding. the service was excellent and the venue (with the view) very good but the food was a little pretentious and over priced. i guess that is to be expected in a venue like this in central london but it was still a little underwhelming.
the signature dish (duck and waffle) was ok. i probably wouldn’t have it again.
overall the venue makes the experience rather than the food.

yummy! duck and waffle and egg. perfect combo. but i'm at duck & waffle local so i guess it's not the same. i don't love the ambiance here but i couldn't find the original location.
