du kuh bee

excellent food!! very friendly family owned restaurant with authentic home cooked food. shrimp fried rice andporknoodles are our favorites. love it!

just wonderful. this was our first time at du kuh bee. my wife had the vegetarian noodles and i hadporknoodles. we shared a spicy cumcumber salad. wow! it was al so very good. the decor is cozy and simple, but the food is out of this world. we ordered on the spicy side (level 4). that suited me fine, but my wife found it very hot (but she ate every bite!). we'll be back!

for some strange reason this stayed on my wish list for ages. what a mistake. fantastic food. we had the noodles with pork, spicy pork, and braised short ribs. yep aporknight. noodles really are great. very fun to watch them roll and spin them in the air and go directly into the pot. the spicy pork, wasn't. it was mostly sweet and there was a fight at the table to eat them. the bed of onions were good to eat by themselves and we did so once all the meat was gone. the ribs were a step up in spice. not hot but enough to tell there was some heat in it. the place is small but really worth the visit.

stunningly good!!! spicyporkbbq and handpulled noodles with chicken orporkare the best. handmade dumplings are great too!

the food, korean with a chinese twist!
smokey little hole in the wall cafe with an open kitchen really felt authentic.

i ordered the pan fried shrimp & kimchee noodle the shrimp which i watched as the owner pulled himself right after i ordered it. whoa...
my only complaint was the shrimp was too small. i also wish they had other ways to prepare the noodles since i am not a huge kimchee fan. (maybe some black bean sauce or my favorite black pepper sauce?)

the spicyporkneck stew wasn't as thick as what i was used to and was too spicy for my taste.

dumpling and kalbi orders are small but are priced well.
both were excellent and was juicy yet flavorful.
keep in mind this place is a hole in the wall which means it isn't fancy.
i only wish i lived closer.

fyi:
they open for dinner only but they do open till 2am weekend.
