hands down, the best korean restaurant i've ever been to if not the best restaurant i've eaten at. great employees, family owned and run and amazing food. try the lemon soju and du kah bee noodles! ❤️❤️

great food and great ambience. it felt a lot like being in a small noodle shop in seoul. the kimchi and noodles were excellent and the spice levels were authentic (i. e. medium is probably hot for most american palates.

i love this restaurant. the kimchi is so flavourful with the perfect amount of spice. i love the bulgogi, apple/bok choy salad, handmade noodles and kimchi fried rice. and the service and price are hard to beat

the place is tiny, a little bit dark, and usually pretty warm and humid inside. trust me, you don't care. the food is out of this world. beef bulgogi is tender and juicy, the hand pulled noodles are a must-try! if you get lucky enough to sit near the back and watch the kitchen, it's a treat! go! bring friends. bring family. just do it.

i called to place an order for pickup 50 minutes before they were going to close. everything was fine until i tried to order kimchi fried rice - and i was told they were out of rice? what?! how can an asian restaurant be out of rice? the lady on the phone said she has rice, but won't sell it to me because she has to have it for people already in the restaurant? what the heck? rediculous.

not recommended. so my friend and i visited this shop. it was not busy and the shop employee clearly saw us and made eye contact, but we had to wait for ten minutes before he came over to seat us. the first ridiculous thing was that he seated us right by the door, not even five steps from the door that we were waiting. then we had to wait another ten minutes before he came over to take our order. we informed him that we were ready to order 8 minutes prior and it wasn't even busy. while we were waiting for him to take our order, another party of two came in and they were seated in a nice table. from the time we were seated until the next party came in, no party left. this was the second ridiculous thing. after waiting for over half an hour, "appetizer" was served. after appetizer, we had to wait another 20 before our food arrived. the food isn't all that good and the price is not worth it.

just wonderful. this was our first time at du kuh bee. my wife had the vegetarian noodles and i had pork noodles. we shared a spicy cumcumber salad. wow! it was al so very good. the decor is cozy and simple, but the food is out of this world. we ordered on the spicy side (level 4). that suited me fine, but my wife found it very hot (but she ate every bite!). we'll be back!

for some strange reason this stayed on my wish list for ages. what a mistake. fantastic food. we had the noodles with pork, spicy pork, and braised short ribs. yep a pork night. noodles really are great. very fun to watch them roll and spin them in the air and go directly into the pot. the spicy pork, wasn't. it was mostly sweet and there was a fight at the table to eat them. the bed of onions were good to eat by themselves and we did so once all the meat was gone. the ribs were a step up in spice. not hot but enough to tell there was some heat in it. the place is small but really worth the visit.

du kuh bee cured our munchies. i found this place by searching urbanspoon for a decent chinese restaurant on the sw side of portland, as many reviews of other chinese places are scary.

we really enjoyed our meal here and didn't mind that the place is tiny and casual - it made me feel like i was in chinatown in san francisco. menu selection isn't as large as a typical chinese restaurant, but everything we ordered was delicious: handmade noodles w/ chicken, baby bok choi cooked to perfection, spicy grilled pork. service was friendly and we like that they are open late on weekends. no full bar, but beer was fine. they also bring out bowls of kim chee and radish to snack on. we hope to return this week!
