eyucckkkkkkk. on christmas eve (2011) we ordered from here about 5:20pm and were told that it would be read for pick up at 6:30p so we went to pick it up. i understand that it was a holiday and a busy night for them but we ended up standing there in a crowd of people for another hour with the rest of our poor hungry family waiting and wondering what happened to us at home. when we were eating the food later my sister pulled a wad of chewed green gum out of her fried rice. yuuuuuummmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!! so when we went back to the restaurant the next day the management basically told us that they don't chew gum there and if they do they get fired. they refused to take responsibility and shooed us away. i was sooooooo angry and disgusted with the service and food. i can definately say that i will not be returning to "the fort" for a loooooooooong time. have fun if you choose this place. maybe you'll get pink gum!

tasteless. food here is huge in portion size and poor in taste and quality. every dish tasted the same - bland. we left most of our food and the waitress seemed really surprised when we said it was tasteless. maybe this is the standard for chinese food here?

good food. the food was good, and cheap, and the service was okay, we had to ask several times for refills, and our bill. other than that, the food, was great

tasty & generous. although this restaurant hardly looks asian inside the food is pretty decent. although catering mainly to western tastes, this restaurant does offer some familiar dishes that i had when visiting asia. the price was good and portions were large making it a good place for a tasty meal.

used to be the best. i once thought of this restaurant as being one of the best of it's kind. sadly, the quality has been going downhill over the past year or so. where the chicken balls were once without equal, they are now little more than tiny bits of tough chicken surrounded by far too much batter.

the sweet sauces seem to be more about high sugar content as opposed to the once pronounced taste of sheer splendor. i'm not sure what is happening, but one can only hope the menu is returned to the heights of excellence of (sadly) yesteryear.

i end up going to the dragon fort a few times a year. my wife usually likes to endulge in some american chinese food once in a while. we usually get the garlic pork, which is one of my favourites, as well as some chow mein, sweet and sour pork (you must try with the sauce on the side as the pork stays nice and crispy), chop suey and some other stereotypical dishes.

by the time we are done, i usually feel a bit bloated from the deep fried goods, which is to be expected, but i also get a splitting headache. this is from the amount of msg they put in their food. this is my one dislike about this place. cut the msg by half at least then maybe i wont need any tylenol afterwards.

and yes i have asked for no msg before, but i am skeptical if my request was honored as i still had a headache afterwards.

this was the best place for chinese food but isn't anymore and hasn't been for a long time. yes, it's cheap but it's still crap.

dragon fort best chinese in abbotsford. i chose df as best chinese as it is by far the freshest food. i have never ever had old slop come from this place. never have i seen brownish broccoli or other vegetables. it is far from authentic chinese, but it is flavourful, and fresh. very enjoyable. non other abby chinese even come close

slow slow slow. if they say 30 minutes, come in 45. food tastes good, but you can tell it isn't healthy. i find that i'm starving hungry in a few hours.

overhyped. i think people choose the dragon fort because it's a well known name. the food isn't very good. it used to be the place to go and now i'd rather drive halfway across town than go to df

good priced food for what you get. one of best value lunch specials in town. look for the giant castle located in front of the largest hooker stroll infested street in abbotsford.

probaby 2nd best place to get chinese food... other then my mom. i'm chinese so that says alot! reasonably priced and super tasty. only thing is the amount of s&s sauce they put on the pork/chicken... alittle too much sometimes, but all in all... great food?

tastes like chicken. i found out what they say is chicken and will never eat here again. tripe is what they use....nasty and deceptive

you gotta try the lettuce wraps. even the vegitarian one is good. the lunch special is huge and for under just $6. they must use extra msg because their food is great

very good food. the portion sizes are generous and the prices are very reasonable. there are a number of good dinner combos.
