best ceasar salad in town. never been disappointed at donatello's. i always have the ceasar and the sampler to getdinnerstarted. after that it is always tough to decide - generally never go wrong with the seafood specials.

service great, they make you feel like a family friend and at the same time it makes for a special night out with your sweetheart. love leaving with a pink rose

a consistent classic.. my wife and i haddinnerwith friends at donatello recently after a 20 year hiatus. food and service were perfect. their pasta fagioli is the best i've ever had - even better than that served in tuscany (honest.) veal chop was tender, delicious and perfectly cooked.

excellent good! this is the real deal italian food! the homemade pasta is too notch. perfect room for businessdinneras well. the owner could not be any nicer, at the end of the meal he gave all the women flowers and thanked us personally. great place!

upscale refinement, northern italian home cooking. donatello's is another one of those tampa landmarks that has been providing diners with terrific classic northern italian fare in an upscale environment...forever. whether it's prom night, a wedding rehearsal, a power lunch or a upscaledinnerfor two, donatello's is going to delivery on a terrific culinary experience. well appointed, the ambiance is upscale without being pretentious. the chicken parmigiana is particularly noteworthy as is their wine selection. well recommended.

mangia!. once again, i had a wonderful meal at donatello's! being italian, i am very picky about going out to italian restaurants - donatello's is like a sundaydinnerat nonna's house! crispy calimari, perfect sauce, al dente pasta, sea bass that melts in your mouth, and the tiramisu - to die for! the restaurant is very intimate with great service. i can't wait to go back!

great place!. donatello's is such a great venue to have either a romanticdinnerwith that special someone or have a 40 people successfuldinnerlike the one we just had. many thanks to all that participated in this event, service was good, food was amazing… thank you again!

one of tampa bay's best local restaurants!. this has been one of tampa's best local restaurants for many years and continues to be first class! we recently had another greatdinnerin their private dining room. we had a large party their along with a set menu that featured steak, sea bass and veal. the appetizers, caesar salad and homemade pasta were all delicious. we had a large party, and all the food came out perfect. the servers didn't miss a beat! my fellow co-workers and friends will be talking about this fantasticdinnerfor a long time. this continues to be a great place for anniversary's, special occasions or nice romanticdinnerfor two. don't miss the lounge featuring live jazz and blues music!
