my wife and i have eaten here many times with good results.our last visit the prices shot up dramatically, the food quality went down, and the service absolutely sucked.why ask how everything is if you don't give a shit.to whom ever reads this,if you want ''good mexican food''go to dima's on rainbow across from the santa fe.great food and the prices have been almost the same for 15 years.next time i want a sit down mexican dinner i'll go to lindo michocuan, but for go in and grab food nobody has beat dima's yet.restaurants close down every day because of greed and dona maria's might be next.

the fish is fresher than the cheese??!. started with a margarita, rolls, my eyes back in my head strong... ceveche was good. cheese enchiladas were like they scraped the gum off the bottom of the table. 28 chews per bite?... that would have been an improvement. i think my dogs chew you would be eaten easier.... definitely won't be back.

my tamal was pretty bland and dry, it needed more zest. i covered mine in the yummy hot salsa and it did the trick.

bien. dona maria is pretty close to our house. i've seen a number of good reviews, and i've been wanting to try it for some time. we finally got around to trying it a few weeks ago.

the albondigas soup was pretty decent. the tortilla soup had lots of cheese but not meat. the chips and salsa were average. the chile relleno was good but not the best i've ever had. the guacamole was good but kinda runny. the chicken tamal was decent and the pork tamal was pretty good. the banana margarita was interesting/different. the chicken taco was fine as was the flan. (no, i didn't eat all of this myself. i split it with my wife and we had leftovers.)

customer service was nonexistent, i paid $4 for one tamale that was served with a pathetic spoonful of lettuce on the side. it seemed like there was more employees than diners...and yet i could not get a refill or asked " is everything ok?" lindo michoacan is way better!!

one of my top two favorite mexican restaurants! love the ranchero sauce. we buy their beef and chicken tamales for christmas day family meal each year. friendly staff. tried cocido soup for the first time here. it's a soup that eats like a meal! yum

good food, reasonably priced. this is one of our favorite mexican restaurants. we order their beef tamales each year for christmas day family get together. the atmosphere is fun (murals on every wall), and the staff friendly.

okay - tons of cheese not always a good thing. my husband liked the fideo soup - it was chock full of thick spaghetti noodles in a flavorful broth - not too salty - and was served piping hot. the dinner salad i had was worthless - iceberg lettuce, one tomato slice, one cucumber slice with "oil and vinegar" dressing covered in shredded chihuahua cheese. not too nutritious. the cheese tamales that i ordered tasted like a soft block of monterrey jack cheese wrapped in masa with a few strips of green chile and a piece of onion. way too heavy on the cheese. they came on a plate with yummy, if a bit too salty, smoky refried beans and tomatoey mexican rice. all in all, not the worst dinner i've ever had, but i definitely will not be going back there. the search for great mexican continues...
