fantastic mexican- we came here while on vacation. my son had a birthday and chose mexican for dinner so we decided to try don pedro's. great food, reasonably priced and fantastic staff. they are reallyfriendlyand we had a great birthday dinner. fried ice cream was a treat!

good service crappy food. i am not understanding how this place has such rave reviews. maybe none of these people know what real mexican food is. the most unauthentic mexican food ever? worst enchiladas verdes ever. no flavor . the queso dip had a funky flavor. the salsa literally tasted like a can of crushed tomatoes that they threw some onions and a crap load of salt in. the chips were ridiculously stale. for three meals out bill was almost fifty bucks ! i will say that even though a lot of reviews say horrible service ...that was the one good thing they did have was awesome service. both the guys that waited on us werefriendlyand attentive. never had to ask for a refill the refilled my drink as soon as it was empty.

always excellent... always. food is fresh, fast, and fabulous. staff is friendly. prices are very reasonable. we eat here often and i cannot recall a bad. experience. as a local i encourage you to make it your go to mexican restaurant, if you are visiting please leave me an open table. favorite is steak and chicken fajitas with grilled jalapeños on the side.

the fajitas are outstanding. salsa is fresh as are all thecdished. good prices andfriendlystaff. it is the best mexican restaurant in the san destin and destin area by a long shot.

great food for a reasonable price. was one of the mostfriendlyplaces i have been to in a long time, the staff was warm and entertaining. the food was flavorful and had very good portions. i would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great night out with friends or family.

you don't have to have a plate that weighs 10lbs to have good food, and this place proves it. manageable portions, good food, good prices,friendlystaff.

best place in town. i'm a local and have been to every mexican restaurant within 30 miles, this is by far the best; the food is delicious, the chicken and steak are flavored perfectly and the green sauce is amazing. i've tried to figure out the recipe, it's impossible. the prices are unbelievably low, the margaritas are huge and perfect. most importantly the waiters are awesome. they are all superfriendlyand attentive and sometimes we even let them pick our meals and surprise us. i highly recommend.

great mexican food at afriendlyprice!. don pedro's is a nice little gem in miramar beach. tucked in a little strip center, you might not expect mexican food this good. the beef fajitas were outstanding (if you like it spicy, make sure you ask for the spicy sauce - only served on request). my daughter got a chicken quesadilla that she raved about (and she doesn't compliment food easily). and my son said his chimichanga was absolutely stuffed with very flavorful chicken. and of course, we had romeo as our waiter. ask for romeo - it makes the whole experience worth the trip!!

fresh and excellent mexican food. i'm originally from los angeles where we have an abundance of great mexican food. don pedro's cantina is equal to any of the best mexican food i've ever had anywhere. if you need crazy, noisy atmosphere then this is not the place. it's in an unassuming, small strip mall. the decor is simple, clean, nothing special. it's all about the food.

they make conventional dishes you find in most american mexican restaurants - burritos, tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas - but they make them with fresh ingredients and they taste great!

it started with chips and salsa - the first thing i judge every mexican restaurant on. they were light, crisp, warm and tasty. the salsa was slightly spicy, not too hot, not too gringo. it's not the chunky kind of salsa, but enough substance that it sticks to the chips.

we don't drink alcohol, so we didn't order margaritas, but the table nearby seemed to really like their margaritas. they serve pepsi products, which i don't like, but surprisingly enough, the diet pepsi was actually good.

i ordered their burrito tipico, which is supposed to come with "cheese dip" sauce. that sounded gross, so i asked for their ranchero sauce instead. i got it with the pulled chicken. it was fantastic. the chicken was very tender and full of flavor and a generous serving of it in the burrito. the "red sauce" was great and the refried beans were really tasty. normally i just leave the rice, but even their rice was moist and flavorful.

my wife got the "mamas enchiladas" with chicken. she loved them. she was so happy they used corn tortillas, some places use flour tortillas with enchiladas, but don pedro's makes them the "right way". :-)

for dessert we order sopapillas. they were perfect, just like they make them in the southwest - light, pillowy and lightly crisped on the outside. since we were having them for dessert, they were served with a drizzle of honey and chocolate sauce and lightly dusted with cinnamon sugar. again, delicious!

they were veryfriendlythere and i only hope they will have enough steady customers to stay in business. it was not very busy, but it sure deserves to be. we sure hope they're still around the next time we're vacationing in destin. if we lived here, we'd be eating there all the time.

ask for the hot sauce!. we love eating here! the food and service is great! romeo is such a nice guy and always comes over to say hi and catch up. they make a red hot sauce and green sauce in house which are amazing. we can't get enough of it! we put it on everything! we see ourselves frequenting here for a very long time, having birthday dinners here as our kids get older! it's a family run, familyfriendlyplace that we recommend to anyone!

authentic & yummy. they have great nightly drink specials including $1.99 margaritas and i love their white cheese dip and salsa! the staff isfriendlyand helpful and the food is delicious! i recommend the shrimp tacos and for a light meal, the shrimp salad. it is very simple and healthy.

undoubtedly the best mexican restaurant in the area, delicious food, good margaritas, prices and specials are excellent, the service is excellent, alex isfriendlyand great, really have to visit this place.

don pedro's cantina has the best food!! my husband and i eat at don pedro's at least twice a week. we've tried almost everything on the menu and every dish is wonderful. the staff is superfriendlyand he service is excellent! we have visitors in town quite often and we always make sure to take them to don pedro's. i strongly recommend that you try it, and you'll love it as much as we do!
