fresh ingredients, excellent drink selection, and very reasonable prices. service by
romeo can't be matched; friendly, efficient, and knowledgable.
go once and you're hooked; you will be back!

great mexican food. we are snowbirds and discovered this restaurant last year. we both had the fish tacos and they were delicious. the nachos and salsa are very good.
the margarita was excellent. great service and we will return. highly recommend.

great mexican. had an early lunch, shrimp tacos, the chips and salsa were excellent, had some queso dip which was very good. the shrimp tacos, were excellently spiced just the right heat, will be back again.

authentic mexican flavor. don pedro's in miramar is not like other mexican restaurants in the area, which becomes apparent as soon as you taste their salsa, as it is significantly hotter than any other you'll find around these parts of florida! my family is from texas, and i'm back over there visiting often, and one of our favorite things to do is to go to authentic mexican restaurants, the kind where most of the workers don't even speak english, to enjoy the spicy flavor. but as soon as i'm back home to destin, it always amazes me when i go back to don pedro's here, that the food is just as good, while most other mexican restaurants in the area are one big chain and taste about like taco bell. but not don pedros, who has a lot of seafood options on their menu, all of which are always fresh and delicious. and if you want something really amazing, ask for some of their secret jalapeño sauce, which will really light you up, but then they have all the best mexican beers on draft to cool you back down. all in all my favorite place in destin, which says a lot!

fantastic meal! we had the texas fajita and the flavor and spicing was great. romeo was a wonderful server and made the experience memorable!

yummy with a smile!. we have had two dinners at don pedro's in the past week and both have been sooooo good. we love mexican food, but don't always feel it's "good" for you. don pedro's combines wonderful top shelf margaritas ( more orange than lime and yet we love them), and great mexican flavors, without the un-healthy fat of most mexican restaurants. the windows :-) and the inside of the restaurant are clean and romeo, our waiter, is the best! he knows the menu, and has a great outgoing, smiling personality. you feel like they're happy that you're there! we've had two different menu items and they have both been above any we've had in destin in the last 13yrs. i would recommend it to anyone in any age group! we're already looking forward to our next trip back! dennis and andrea soltis, destin, fl

favorite lunch spot!. awesome service, great food and you can't beat the prices!

our first visit. monday's evening dining adventure found us dining alone. not many people out so we had the kitchen staff at our disposal. we wanted a pitcher of top shelf margaritas and that appeared to be a problem. all we could get was just their regular $13.99 pitcher of ordinary margaritas. we ordered the fish tacos and taco salad with beef. the canned jalapeno slices didn't do a lot for me...wish they were fresh and they could have been. both were good..not outstanding by any mean but a value for what we received. when we finished, a few more diners arrived and the place became a little more lively. total bill was under $40 including drinks and tip.

don pedro's. everything was delicious. we got the 2 for 1 lime houserita (happy hour).
friends had told us to get the guacamole appetizer, flautas, and fried ice cream. we ordered the guacamole and it was delicious and we got a lot for the price (small portion). we also saw where we could order a build your own combo. we ordered a chicken 2 flautas, chicken enchilada, chicken quesadilla and rice (we don’t usually order beans). everything was delicious. everything! even though we were full, we still went for the refried ice cream. it was just as good. our server, romeo, was very personable. we would definitely recommend this restaurant (we love mexican food so you can take this to the bank).

it was located a few blocks from our condo and had good ratings as a local mexican restaurant. it was pretty good. daniel wasn't that hungry so he just had a burrito while i ordered the fish tacos and a fruity margarita. i thought it was all tasty, but we both thought the chips were a bit stale.

best in destin. we just experienced a great dinner. the food was great and the staff, especially romeo, was awesome

you don't have to have a plate that weighs 10lbs to have good food, and this place proves it. manageable portions, good food, good prices, friendly staff.
