terrific food and service!. ever get the feeling that negative reviews on urban spoon are written by local competition? you can count on actually seeing me at the restaurant once a week. it is terrific. the food is not dry, or burned, and the service is always great. i've never had to wait for anything.
my wife and i normally share a meal there, and usually have enough to take home for the larger meals. my aunt from houston said that don e's is as authentic as in south texas, and they have the best margarita's you'll ever have.
lastly, thestaffis so friendly with my family, and i really enjoy that. they know my children, and everyone's children by name. they take special care of them, and we really like being able to eat somewhere that thestaffwants you to be there.
