slow service, burned food.. theservicewas slow, the waiter actually made eye contact with me and walked away, leaving the only other wait staff to run between five tables by himself. the fajitas were over cooked, actually burned on the bottom. although i would consider visiting again, because every establishment can have an off day, don eduardo's certainly is not the best mexican restaurant i've been too. el canterito two is much much better.

terrific food and service!. ever get the feeling that negative reviews on urban spoon are written by local competition? you can count on actually seeing me at the restaurant once a week. it is terrific. the food is not dry, or burned, and theserviceis always great. i've never had to wait for anything.

my wife and i normally share a meal there, and usually have enough to take home for the larger meals. my aunt from houston said that don e's is as authentic as in south texas, and they have the best margarita's you'll ever have.

lastly, the staff is so friendly with my family, and i really enjoy that. they know my children, and everyone's children by name. they take special care of them, and we really like being able to eat somewhere that the staff wants you to be there.

not real mexican food..servicefriendly and fast. the food is not good. i grew up in southern ca. on the mexico border where the food rocks.
what restaurant puts great value hot sauce on the table? i ordered cheese enchiladas. chile relleno and rice. the sauce was straight up tomato sauce not enchilada sauce. my husband had steak fajitas.... i mean onion fajitas.
i know the mexican restaurant in harriman is much much better.

horrible!. we decided to give don eduardo's take-out a try tonight. before i even write anything i realize i should have looked in the bag before we left but i didn't. my wife and i ordered the fajitas for 2 with extra guacamole. not only did we not get any guacamole but we didn't even get the fajita shells! we lived 15 minutes away so it wasn't worth it to go back and get the rest of our dinner. i called and spoke to manager and proceeded to politely tell him the situation, not looking to get money back or the missing food, but to inform him of the substandardserviceand he basically said "so". i promise this was the first and last time i go to don eduardo's.

10 july 2011. i have eaten at don e several times, the food was wonderful each and every time, enjoyed talking to your manager. today my wife and i ate there, food was not up to standard,servicewas poor. i had to send my food back, i had ordered my steak med rare, you could not cut meat with a knife. had to send back and reorder. wifes food was suspose to have mushrooms in it. had approx 3 mushrooms. will have to think hard if we return. i sat and watch two different families stand and wait over 5 minutes to be seated, was not busy, several empty tables, both families left and went else where to eat.serviceis average to poor when the manager is not there.
