i've wanted to like this place for a while, and kept coming back hoping i would be right -- and i was. totally love it, i just have just been catching them on "bad days" before.

super nice looking place, really worthwhile selection, but kind of slow staff. unfriendly, and a bit messy. for a corner coffee shop, i'd hope they'd be more neighbourly.

i'll go back and keep hoping.

neighborhood cafe.. for a neighborhood cafe, d'lish lacks almost all sense of neighborhood. the staff does alright, and the menu is a pretty sound collection that should meet most tastes. it would be a great place to walk to and meet friends, have a snack, and visit, if it was in any way friendly.

as i said, the staff does alright, but isn't exceptional. the management seems to lack care for customer service and doesn't inspire it. the setting is cool, but not welcoming, and the dirty washroom with no baby changing table seems to specifically ward off neighboring families.

seeing the menu, desert, and beer selection when the spot opened, i had great hope, and thought i'd frequent this cafe only a few blocks from my house, but found it's charm wasn't able to endure past my first couple visits.

again though, it is cool looking, and the menu's alright, so do go once or twice, but they probably won't keep you coming back.

thumbs down :(. the food used to be good but the quality has gone down hill and speed of service is really slow...
i feel like my food was just thrown together and the service wasn't very friendly. and the place isn't as clean as it used to be! too bad, it's a nice spot!

first off, tish and her staff are extremely hard working and caring.
the food is amazing!! the ambiance is fantastic! the deserts in the cooler look like pieces of art, they are so beautifully done. way to go tish and staff!

picked up lunch here last week. very tight quarters inside and was glad we preordered. the food (sandwiches and a burrito bowl, carrot cake and cheesecake) was all excellent with the desserts being spectacular. lots of tables outside if you have time to relax and sit for a while. my only negative was the young girl taking orders and payment clearly hates her job and was very offputting. i was a server for years ... that would not have flown with any of my employers.

great experience. this is a special place which serves decent coffee (bean north, from whitehorse, as i understand) and excellent soups (tried a spin off of borscht). the salad i had was pretty good, too. i'd definitely go back for a coffee and a sweet. the decorations are a lot of fun and the staff were really friendly. the price was very, very reasonable for a decent size bowl of soup, a small salad, and an americano. would go back again!

i had been frequenting this place often but the past three times were poor experiences and will not return. service was unfriendly, and food progressively worse. the first time i had the quinoa for breakfast it was great but the last time it was cold, very few berries and no hemp hearts. when i went up and said it was cold i anticipated a new one, but my old one returned, microwaved, yogurt and all. i do not use a microwave at home and don't need to go out to have it done. my boyfriend had the grilled cheese and it obviously said in the panini grill to long as all the cheese melted out the sides leaving it a not so grilled cheese grill cheese. if the service hadn't been so lacklustre i would be more inclined to try again.

excelent. after trying a lot of saskatoon restaurants, some of which should be closed down, and being somewhat frustrated at the low quality of food, i finally found a place i can give the absolute highest review to, this place exceeds all my standards, i have learned that in saskatoon the standards are frighteningly low because that is the way it has always been here, you get a restaurant that is a bit above the rest (and still bad), everybody raves about it, because it is the best of the worst, saskatoon has a long way to go in terms of restaurant quality, it is gowning, people are traveling more, and learning that we have very low standards generally here in saskatoon. d'lish by tish cafe is easily as good as any place in any city anywhere, i have traveled a lot. trish, good job, you deserve credit

best americano ever. we visit saskatoon several times a year and just this found this wonderful neighbourhood delight. we love the coffee, great service and wonderful food. had two soups on special today and they along with our panini and americano coffees were tremendous. love to sit at the window seats and watch the neighbourhood go by. m/b from winnipeg

this place is mediocre in all aspects, including the bad music choices. the coffee is even slightly below mediocre. the food would be slightly better if they used more whole-wheat. however the quinoa porridge was excellent and the map of the world on the wall is nice.

personally i hate starbucks, so whenever i stumble upon a newer local cafe i get pretty excited. this cafe was very disappointing; the baristas seem to care more about serving coffee like starbucks than actually making a good cup of coffee. my misto was scalding hot, to the point of me burning my hand whenever i attempted to take a drink. as a tip to the barista's; any milk steamed over 165 degrees is 'burnt' and hinders bringing out the flavours within the espresso.

new favourite place!. i've been there twice now and both were amazing experiences! the staff are wonderful and personable, the food is to die for, the coffee is amazing and the desserts are to die for. the place was clean, welcoming and downright cute.

i had the "not your momma's" grilled cheese panini and it was so good. also got the oatmeal with greek yogurt, berries and hemp hearts, perfect breakfast.

i have a feeling i'll be going there quite a bit.

huevos. you can always expect their delicious maple bacon cooked to caramelization instead of crispy, with sweet red and yellow sweet pepper, some black bean, fluffy eggs and melted cheese. the tortilla is nicely grilled. on the side they serve up some sour cream with a sprinkling of fresh pico de gallo.

-----09 jul, 2013-----

breakfast sandwich. the delicious eggs are remarkably fluffy, a nice mild melted cheddar, delicious maple bacon not crisp but nicely caramelized, on their wonderful panini which always has the perfect crunch.

-----09 jul, 2013-----

oatmeal. the beautiful consistency of this oatmeal is due to the mix of quinoa and hemp seeds. that pretty color is thanks to delicious blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries, their natural sweetness and flavour making this delightful. the dollop of sweet sour cream just takes this over the top to make this nice and rich.

we discovered this hidden treasure while on a long walk one evening earlier this week. though we didn't stop in we vowed to come back soon, and we're delighted we did.

a cool, rainy saturday gave us the opportunity to try the soups and sandwiches after another long walk. the jambalaya soup was hearty, with lots of vegetables, lightly spiced with small tender shrimp in a well balanced tomato base. the asparagus and parsnip soup in a light cream base was perfectly accented by fresh dill. we had the small bowls to accompany our sandwiches, and the portion size was very generous (we wonder how big a regular bowl of soup would be!)

we shared two outstanding grilled panini sandwiches. the "roast beast" was tender and flavourful and the cheese and onions were delicious complements to the beef. the chipotle turkey club was also delightful, highlighted by a delicious maple bacon cooked to caramalized perfection. the panini bread is outstanding.

we also enjoyed our cappuccino and americano - rich, full bodied and with a hint of chocolate notes in the cappuccino. the foam tends to be medium bodied, it won't hold the sugar on top, but it does stay till your last sip.

the vibe is comfortable, homey and authentic. service is relaxed, friendly, timely and unrushed. and they play great background music!

we will return soon, and often.
