dish dash is a fresh mediterranean restaurant in sunnyvale which also has a great decor. i opted for the outdoor single seat table. thefoodwas delicious and the open air experience was awesome.

tabsi falafel with freekeh, cranberry juice, complimentary pita with olive oil infusion.

santanu introduced me to dishdash in old sunnyvale. it's an extremely popular spot, even with very efficient service. ourfoodwas excellent, making the wait for the table worthwhile. we started with a cold appetizer platter. these six dishes offered an amazing variety in not just taste but also texture. these little plates encompassed an amazingly large band in the middle easternfoodspectrum. my main dish was the lamb. chunks of lamb came buried in the rice, all surrounded by an extremely flavorful and rich sauce. the lamb was succulent and tender. i had to restrain myself from gobbling it down.

this place was located just next to my hotel in sanjose. they have the best mediterraneanfoodwith customization. this place has really nice seating arrangement and romantic kinda ambience. i visited it 2-3 times and found it crowded all the time so better to make a reservation before. 
thefoodquality was great, love falafels, service was superb and the music- oh my god, love their music.

if you are a lover of mediterraneanfoodthen this place is must visit. totally loved stuff they serve. if you are going during lunch it will be little crowded.

this restaurant is always crowded which speaks volumes of how good thefoodis. i have always had a good experience with this one. a little pricey but worth it.

the ambience is super cool and appropriate for a dinner date,foodwas delicious, we felt that the server helping us was in a hurry, they took our plates while we were working on it and it felt like they wanted us to leave and get the table ready for others, we had to wait and ask for getting our water glasses refilled. didnot like the service though.

the best middle easternfoodi've had! try their zara, sabanech and mashakalah (probably spelling it wrong). also, the baklava crumble is to die for!

nice collection offoodand drinks. for some reason, our waiter was really pesky and constantly kept on bugging us asking for the next order. i'm guessing that it was an aberration because otherwise this place in murphy's ave is a big draw during weekends.

this place is ok, staff tends to forget things even when you remind them a couple of times.foodwas ok for vegetarians, lots of options for appetizers but not in entrees, thefoodlacked flavor and was very bland.

their location in sunnyvale downtown is better in service.

right in sunnyvale downtown, this is a great place for a relaxed dinner. nice mediterraneanfoodwith decent veggie options.

i love their m'shakaleh vegetarian and as with mediterranean food, eggplant invariably makes into most of veggie dishes. they serve very fine basmati rice as well.

during winters, the outside seating gets a bit tricky with cold breeze and their heaters are not so good. for the rest of the year, outside seating is excellent.

excellent mediterraneanfoodhere. do not miss the kebabs. the veg starters are very good too. given the popularity of place, it was crowded during lunchtime. fast and functional services during rush hour.
highly recommended.

if you like mediterraneanfoodthen this is the go to place. place is usually crowded and seating inside is a bit tight.

love their chicken shish taouk, kebab and the wraps.foodis excellent, always. service may be a bit slow, reservation in advance always helps. also, this place has better interiors compared to the one on murphy lane, sunnyvale.

this place is always crowded so better make a reservation ahead of time. when you go there you will realize why. thefoodis excellent and service is fairly prompt. for the quality of food, service and ambience the price is just about right. great place to go with friends or colleagues but the wrong place for a romantic outing.

excellent food. thefoodhere was not just good; it was expertly prepared. i had the sambusak dajaj, which is filo dough stuffed with chicken, mushrooms, onions, etc. the texture and flavor were remarkable. my so had the bamieh -- lamb shank cooked with tomatoes and okra. it was also wonderful, with the meat still on the bone and the sauce thick and flavorful. why haven't we eaten here before? i don't know, but we will definitely be back.
