we worked near hershey earlier this year and found ourselves returning to devon several times. yes, it's expensive, but it's good and worth the $$ imo.
make a reservation! don't complain about having to wait for seating if you didn't plan ahead. you will likely wait a while if you don't make one.
the seafood dishes i had were really good. i was very pleasantly surprised at how tasty their food was considering they are not near the coast and have to have everything flown in.
their scallops are, bar none, the best i've ever had, anywhere. don't know what the secret is, but man, they are phenomenal!
appetizers: we've tried several but my personal favorites were 1.) jumbo shrimp cocktail, and 2.) the mainelobsterroll. both were excellent and though i'm not nearby i'd drive back up there to have their food again.
meals: i won't make a recommendation here other than to say that literally every seafood dish i had was perfect. i don't dole out compliments re: food easily, and certainly not for restaurants that charge $30.00-$50.00 a plate. but they nailed it every-time we came.
alcohol: i actually thought they missed the mark a few times here. consistency was lacking. $15.00 for a drink...it better be good.
deserts: everything we tried was good. nothing noteworthy (compared to the seafood) but it was all decent.
coffee: meh...again. stick to the main courses. they miss the mark on the coffee 100%. it would take a lot for me to think they'd made strides here.
