just had a very nice lunch at the devon. food was good, but not out of this world. decor beautiful and service great. biggest negative is their irish coffee- not cheap and a very poor presentation. the coffee was served in regular ceramic mugs, with just jameson in it - no whipped cream, creme de menthe, just an ugly cup off coffee. the waitress said they serve it the way they do in ireland - bland. at $8.00 a cup, they should warn you in advance, as i would expect that most people would expect the irish coffee to be served in a elongated glass mug, with fresh whipped cream and an additional shot of baileys added with the jameson's.
for such a very high end restaurant, this was a very disappointing end to a good meal!
p.s. btw the restaurant smelled a little fishy, which for claiming they serve only the very freshest seafood, the place should not smell like old fish!
